NIBULON’s Professionals Guarantee Success

NIBULON is a successful company that develops itself quickly. NIBULON’s Deputy General Director of Personnel Larysa Buryk tells about personnel policy at the company, its peculiarities and prospects.
– Larysa Buryk, the current statistics demonstrates negative trends in the employment sector both in the country, in Mykolayiv and in the region. According to the National Labour Organization, the unemployment rate in Ukraine comprised 9,7 % at the end of last year; the State Statistics Committee informs that the employment rate of able-bodied people in Mykolayiv region is 66,5%; job competition in the regional centre increases… What is NIBULON’s personnel policy in this context? How does it function in the all-Ukrainian economic and social situation?
– Every day several dozens of job applicants address themselves to us, asking about job or application form filling. This can be logically explained, as the company is well-known in Ukraine as an employer that appreciates professionals and creates the required conditions. In addition, NIBULON guarantees professional and career growth to people who work honestly and responsibly. Thus, the number of people who want to join NIBULON’s family is increasing. Taking into account the current social and economic situation in our country, thousands of employees in Mykolayiv city and in other regions can support their families and have confidence in the future due to NIBULON.
The statistics demonstrates positive tendency in NIBULON’s operation: unlike other companies that reduce the number of staff, NIBULON continues to employ people. Last year NIBULON’s facilities located in Mykolayiv city accepted for employment 282 persons and in January-March 2015 – 68 persons. At present NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard is operating efficiently. In 2014, 92 persons got a job at NIBULON shipyard, and in the first three months of 2015 – 28 ones.
– Meanwhile, some Internet sources publish information on “special” principles, criteria of employment at NIBULON…
– It is improper to say such things when choosing personnel: professionalism is the only criterion for job applicants. But some “critics” are dissatisfied and angry. They want to provoke a scandal, as job applicants have no idea how many people aspire for the position. Thus, they think of “special” criteria. I want to mention that the number of job seekers is increasing every day, and the number of vacancies is restricted by NIBULON’s production capabilities. Every smart person realizes that NIBULON itself cannot solve the unemployment problem either in the country or in Mykolayiv city.
– How can a person get a job at NIBULON?
– Job applicants should fill in an application form either in the office or on the corporate website, online. The application forms are the main source for applicant database; 70 % of the current employees got a job in such a way. It is very important for us to process each application form thoroughly and to discern a specialist. People’s destinies depend on us; thereby, formality and inattention are inadmissible in the given situation. The personnel department does not conceal its phone numbers. Its specialists can give information.
Certainly, the company improves its activities as well as staff recruiting. Initiated by NIBULON’s General Director, a new system of staff recruiting is implemented at the company.  A commission consisting of specialists from different departments will interview people. The commission is authorized to consider the application forms and to choose the most skilful specialists who will meet the job requirements. Family or friend ties play no role here; a conflict of interests of employees in charge is excluded. The main thing is professionalism meeting the company’s requirements.
The above-mentioned method of staff recruiting is not new; certain departments of the company were used to perform collective interviews.
We are interested in forming the best team; thus, the rules to accept for employment are common for everyone!
In order to solve the employment problem, we need to improve the economy. NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and the staff are sure that employees, employers, investors and the state can overcome crisis, by working responsibly. Андрій Вадатурський став генеральним директором «НІБУЛОНу» після понад 15 років роботи в компанії — в липні 2022 року.

Він прийняв цю посаду після трагічної загибелі свого батька та засновника «НІБУЛОНу» Олексія Вадатурського разом із матір’ю Раїсою Вадатурською під час російського ракетного удару по їхньому дому в Миколаєві.

З 2014 до 2019 рік був народним депутатом України від одномандатного округу в Миколаївській області та членом Комітету з питань аграрної політики. У 2017 році створив і очолив велику міжпартійну групу, яка виступала за розвиток українських річок як транспортного засобу.  

Має ступінь магістра електротехніки Українського державного морського технічного університету та ступінь магістра економіки промисловості Лондонської школи економіки. У 2009 році за вагомий внесок у розвиток агропромислового комплексу України був нагороджений Президентом України, йому присвоєно звання «Заслужений працівник сільського господарства».

Одружений, має трьох дітей.
