“Zolotonis’ka” elevator is one of the first facilities constructed by NIBULON (the first stage was put into operation in September 2007). This motivates its employees to maintain NIBULON’s reputation appropriately. Constructed on a wasteland and in the territory of the destroyed farm, the branch enjoys leading positions in the regional economy and plays an important role in the social sector. From the very beginning, “Zolotonis’ka” branch demonstrated in practice the importance of NIBULON’s standard in different sectors of life activity.
Since the first days of operation, NIBULON’s elevator, being the first one in Cherkasy region, has achieved high production results. And in 2008-2009 MY, the facility received 218,256 tons of grain. Despite competitors (years have passed, NIBULON constructed new facilities), the elevator of “Zolotonis’ka” branch continued to maintain its high production level. The 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2011-2012 marketing years were particularly successful for the branch. The elevator received the highest volume of the following grain crops:
– corn – 139,039 tons in 2011-2012 MY, in 2008-2009 MY – 135,174 tons and in 2013-2014 MY – 112,873 tons;
– wheat – 25,683 tons in 2012-2013 MY and in 2009-2010 MY – 24,122 tons;
– rapeseed – 31,567 tons and 26,165 tons in 2008-2009 MY and in 2009-2010 MY respectively;
– barley – 30,379 tons and 22,304 tons in 2008-2009 MY and in 2009-2010 MY respectively.
The elevator has received, stored and shipped about 690 thousand tons of corn, more than 132 thousand tons of wheat, almost 90 thousand tons of rapeseed and 63 thousand tons of barley during the entire period of operation. The elevator stores eight types of grain and oil crops.
The elevator is greatly experienced in cooperating with agricultural producers. This contributes to the operation efficiency. Product suppliers were convinced of honest partnership, transparency and responsibility at the facility. In particular, this is achieved due to the highly qualified laboratory team headed by Olga Polyakova, a leading specialist. The elevator meets the international standards to measure product quality, and its head has been working at the elevator since it was established, as well as Tamara Ivchenko, a chief accountant, Tetyana Zhdanova, deputy chief accountant, Leonid Bekmansurov, a transporter, Oleksandr Karyy, an operator of dispatching movement and loading/unloading operations, Oleksandr Kovalenko and Yuriy Pukha, shift foremen, Oleksandr Taranenko, a senior foreman, Lyudmyla Saliy, Nataliya Radchenko and Oleksandr Rovnyagin, accountants on records management, Valentyna Yasyr, a cleaner. The elevator’s stable operation is constantly controlled and ensured by Yuriy Nazarenko, a chief engineer, Oleg Lytvynenko, a chief mechanic, and Volodymyr Pukha, a chief powerman. Volodymyr Kosenko and Vadym Mykhaylov, shift foremen, perform their duties professionally. Thanks to the team of landscape designers headed by Lyudmyla Gurina, the elevator territory attracts attention with its fruit trees, bushes, green lawns and flower beds. During these years, the “experienced” elevator has prepared heads and specialists who are working in different regions now, and the elevator employs young specialists and gives them practical experience.
“The elevator is developing itself in terms of technical and technological aspects, says Sergiy Nudga, its director. “We must meet modern requirements; thus, we have modernized capacities for the last two years. We have replaced conveyors and bucket elevators with more productive ones, created new technological lines, installed the third additional Mathews 3180M dryer, replaced a separator with more productive and improved one. A new RKSHP 6 grain loader enabled the elevator to speed up the loading of transport and the cleaning of storages. In addition, the laboratory, an elevator’s heart, is constantly modernized; up-to-date equipment is installed. These improvements increase the facility capacities and enable the elevator to receive more qualitative products”.
According to Sergiy Nudga, the company’s management regularly provides the team with personal protection equipment, inventory, pays bonuses and material assistance. For example, recently, the company has allocated financial assistance for the treatment of Oleksandr Kulyk, its employee.
It goes without saying that such an elevator is of great value in Zolotonosha district. Wage level and stability is appreciated here. NIBULON’s employees participated in repairing roads in Voznesenske city; the branch provides financial and material assistance to schools, kindergartens, local and district hospitals, supports social sector and volunteer organization that helps ATO participants. In 2014, the team of NIBULON’s elevator was awarded the Honorary Diploma. Sergiy Nudga was awarded the Order of Gratitude of Zolotonosha District State Administration; the branch is represented on the wall of fame in the district.
