We would remind you that the keel laying ceremony was held on August 21, 2014, under the chairmanship of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The shipbuilding progress is for your attention.
The first vessel of the project (manufacturing order 1003):
Units No.2, 3, 4 have been assembled on berth. In the assembly and welding area there has been completed assembly of smoke pipe (unit No.21) and towknees (unit No.9). There is being mounted unit No.22 (navigation room) and assemblies for aft unit (No.10) and unit No.14 (forecastle deck). Besides, production of pipeline systems and items of mechanical and fitter parts is being performed.
The second vessel of the project (manufacturing order 10004):
Units No. 2, 3 have been assembled on berth. Unit No.4 (forepart end) is being assembled. In the assembly and welding area there has been completed assembly of smoke pipe (unit No.21), towknees (unit No.9); assemblies for aft unit (No.10) and unit No.14 (forecastle deck) are being mounted.
The second vessel of the project (manufacturing order 10005):
Units No.2, 3 are being assembled on berth. Unit No.4 is being prepared for assembly. Besides, at the workshop there is being performed mounting of assemblies for aft unit (No.10) and unit No.14 (forecastle deck); smoke pipe (unit No.21) and towknees (unit No.9) have been assembled.
The tugs of 121 project are modern high-tech vessels designed for operation on inland waterways of Ukraine, have mixed navigation class and correspond to the EU environmental legislation. Ukrainian design bureau “Sudokomposit” is a designer of the series of vessels.
