On August 21, 2014, under the chairmanship of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON” there was held keel-laying of three tugs of 121 project. Less than a week has passed since the construction beginning of three tugs of 121 project, and subassembly is in process.
At present on the shipyard berth there have been installed basic blocks No.02 of manufacturing order No.10003-10005 and bottom section of the block No.03 of the first tug. Upper decks and sides of blocks No.03 are being assembled on all three vessels; assemblies of blocks No.03 and No.04 are being mounted at the workshop.
Besides, at the same time there is being performed metal cutting to assemble next blocks at Kyiv shipyard “Leninska Kuznya”; design documentation is being developed by the design office “Sudokomposit”.
It should be mentioned that the tugs of the given project are modern high-tech vessels designed for operation on inland waterways of Ukraine and have mixed navigation class.
All the technological stages of the vessels’ construction will be conducted by the company’s shipbuilders at its own shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”.
