Employees of NIBULON’s production and technological laboratory and quality specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture of Jordan participated in the event.
Long partnership relations connect NIBULON with Jordan. The Ukrainian company regularly wins tenders for agricultural commodity delivery to this country. Participation in such international tenders helps to strengthen positive image of not only NIBULON but also Ukraine. NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy met with the Minister of Agriculture of Jordan and the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply of Jordan twice. A lot of working meetings have been held with Under-Secretary of Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply of Jordan. Within these meetings there was coordinated further cooperation of Jordan’s government with the Ukrainian agrarian leader. In particular, NIBULON initiated common training in Ukraine.
In the company’s unique laboratory the specialists of both countries had an opportunity to become familiar with standards, study technologies to determine grain product quality, share experience and discuss problem issues within three days. “Baltic Control Ukraine”, a surveying company, was chosen to be a moderator of the meeting.
“The aim of our visit was to get to know NIBULON’s standards concerning technologies of grain product quality analysis and to compare them with our developments. I must admit that we were amazed at what we saw here”, says Hussein Hawilen, a head of feed stuff division of the Ministry of Agriculture of Jordan.
The guests had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the high-tech transshipment terminal of NIBULON in Mykolayiv city. The representatives of Jordan were impressed by the terminal’s facilities, its functionality, and level of working conditions. The visitors were mostly impressed by the production and technological laboratory enabling NIBULON to perfectly ensure product quality when forming grain batches. The foreign specialists saw NIBULON’s agrarian fleet: St. Mykolai floating crane, tugs and non-self-propelled vessels. While visiting Ukraine, the guests visited NIBULON’s transshipment terminal along the Southern BugRiver in Nova Odesa town (Mykolayiv region).
“We have seen buildings, laboratories, vessels, elevators, found out more about your production and logistics. We are sure that NIBULON is a leader of grain export and Ukraine’s agriculture”, notes Hussein Hawilen, “Certainly, in the name of our delegation I want to thank you for your invitation and hospitability. We were glad to see you and to visit Ukraine. I share my impressions with my colleagues and the Minister of Agriculture of Jordan”.
The participants hope that such common trainings will contribute to the successful cooperation of NIBULON with Jordan’s government, including development of unified standards to determine grain quality when shipping grain batch at a port of departure and after it is delivered to a port of destination.
“Jordan is a strategic export direction for NIBULON”, stresses Dmytro Furda, acting head of the contract execution department. “Last marketing year we delivered 350 thousand tons of grain ordered by Jordan. I am sure that such cooperation of specialists, sharing of experience and discussion of urgent issues will increase cooperation in future and strengthen Ukraine’s authority as a powerful agrarian state in the Middle East”.
