On June 26, 2014, in the local history museum “Staroflotski Barracks” within the social and cultural events “Days of the Day in Mykolayiv city” there was held a solemn opening of the photo exhibition “Day-2013”.
A collection of the best photos of Ukrainian journalists and amateurs were introduced in the museum halls. Representatives of local educational institutions and authorities visited the event.
Speaking at the exhibition, Head of Mykolayiv Regional Council Taras Kremin noted, “If today the intellectuals, intelligent people and politics have common aims and views, soon our nation will become consolidated and strong that means our nation will become not only Ukrainian but also European”. Head of Regional Council thanked those who participate in Mykolayiv protection, who want our city to be really European.
“It is an objective photo depicting Ukrainian life”, characterized photos Larysa Ivshyna, an editor-in-chief of the Day. “When people talk, have discussions at such exhibitions, it is much better than you try to explain something to them. Their awakened souls are searching for answers.”
NIBULON was involved in the organization of this event. In particular, within the educational action “A present to native school”, the company has purchased 20 sets of unique historical books of the series “Library of the Day” for Mykolayiv libraries and NIBULON’s sponsored schools in Mykolayiv city and different regions of Ukraine.

We hope these wonderful books will become important contribution to formation of patriotism and national consciousness of young Ukrainians, help them to get to know more about their native land and its peculiarities”, stressed Alla Yurchuk, a head of NIBULON’s information and organization department.
On looking through photos, the guests had an opportunity to vote for their favourite photo. According to Larysa Ivshyna, annually, one and the same photos enter the top 5 best in each region of Ukraine. This testifies unity of Ukrainians even in cultural and aesthetic tastes.
