We inform you officially that in the territory of NIBULON’s transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city on June 10, 2014, there was no fire. However, on equipment that was removed of service to be repaired there happened local spontaneous combustion of dust residue. This caused smoke formation in spaces; therefore, the duty unit of the State Service of Emergency Situations was called. NIBULON thanks the workers of the State Service of Emergency Situations for professional discharge of their duties and deserved attitude to NIBULON’s operation.
The transshipment terminal of the company operates in normal mode without limitation in receipt and shipment of grain for export. The agricultural producers were convinced of it, as they managed to deliver their agricultural commodities unrestricted that day and next day at the transshipment terminal. Today at the transshipment terminal there is being loaded Panamax vessel. The transshipment terminal did not undergo material loss. The given event will not influence on the volumes of agricultural commodity export.
Unfortunately, taking into consideration NIBULON’s authority, in order to create a sensation, mass-media considerably overstated the event’s size and its consequences. In the Internet there is a video depicting a column of smoke above the territory of PJSC “Chernomorskyy shipyard”. We inform you that the pictures and video appeared in the Internet are not related to NIBULON’s transshipment terminal and are another fake. NIBULON has true pictures taken from the place of smoke origin. Everyone can watch the video and receive evidence that smoke is coming out of PJSC “Chernomorskyy shipyard” territory, where on June 10 during the whole day there was smoke formation caused by trash burning.
Please pay attention that on June 10 at that very time at the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON” there was launched NIBULON-5 tug of POSS-115 project. This is an important event for NIBULON and the whole city. But, unfortunately, because of this fake the vessel’s launching remained unnoticed by a lot of mass-media.
