At present all NIBULON’s vessels are in operation and perform production tasks.
St. Mykolai self-propelled floating crane being the most productive transshipment crane in Ukraine continues to operate in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Sea Commercial Port.
We would remind you that on July 30, 2013, the crane came to Mykolayiv city, and in August 08 St. Mykolai was in Ochakiv town and started its operation, loading PANAMAX vessels full in the roads.
At present for 43 weeks of efficient operation, the crane has loaded more than 743 thousand tons of wheat, barley, corn, rapeseed and other crops.
Loading of vessels is carried out in three stages: preparatory works (crossing, mooring, opening of holds and others), loading itself and final works (closing of holds, unmooring, draft survey, etc).
By the way, the rated daily capacity of the crane comprises up to 20 thousand tons which is equal to the capacity of NIBULON’s main grain transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city.
During this year’s navigation NIBULON’s cargo fleet has transported almost 590 thousand tons of agricultural products (including for export), and in 2013-14 marketing year the volume comprised almost 2.15 million tons.
The company plans to build its cargo fleet in future. Besides two tugs of POSS-115 project being built at the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”, there has been planned construction of the series of river tugs of POSS-121 project, non-self-propelled vessels of NBL-91 project, grain reloader of C14938 project, self-propelled vessel of “Volgo-Don Max” class.
NIBULON proves in practice that the Ukrainian agrarian company can be a driving force of economy, shipbuilding and be one of the domestic leaders in tonnage increase and fleet renewal!
