Installation of hull outfit is being continued on NIBULON-5 of POSS-115 project: ladders, manholes, and foundations are being installed in the units No.20, 30, 40. Hull outfit is being mounted in the units No.10, 50.
There is being continued fabrication of electrical-fitteritems; manufacture of foundations, gears, shafts and flanges is being continued.
Assembly of pipes in the double-bottom compartments of the units No.20, 30, 40 and also in the engine room is being finished.
Production of the most complicated hull structures, namely afterbody edge (unit No.10) and forebody edge (unit No.50), is being finished; installation of eyeboltfor canting and transportation on the stocks of the shipyardis being completed.
Within the next few days new welding equipment by ESAB, the leading Swedish producer, will be delivered to the shipyard.
Besides, last week the shipbuilders started to assemble the unit No.60 (afterbody superstructure); manufacture of the units No.84 and 85 (towknees) was finished.
On NIBULON-6 hull works are being continued. Side sections of the unit No.40 are being installed on the deck section; manufacture of the sections No.84 and 85 (towknees) was completed. “Leninska Kuznya” shipyard must process less than 5 % of metal.
Construction of vessels is performed according to the following stages: metal cutting – subassembly and fabrication (NIBULON-6) – hull formation (NIBULON-5) – manufacture of hull systems – test of spaces – assembly of deck equipment – assembly of electrical and radionavigation equipment – mounting of insulation and metal plating – plating of spaces – equipping of superstructure and living spaces – deck painting – mooring trials  – sea trials.
