NIBULON’s Export has Reached a Record Figure in 2013 (Annual Results. Part III)

NIBULON finishes successful 2013 which adds another award to NIBULON’s symbolic basket of awards – for agricultural commodity export record.
According to the intermediate results of six months of 2013/14 marketing year, as of December 24, the company’s export has already comprised about 2.9 million tons. During this period 1.37 million tons of corn, more than 800 thousand tons of wheat, almost 399 thousand tons of rape seed, 266 thousand tons of barley, 27.5 thousand tons of sorghum and almost 10 thousand tons of soya beans were shipped for export.
The export figure of 2013 calendar year has reached more than 4 million tons.
Thus, NIBULON plans to finish the current marketing year that comes to an end on June 30, 2014 with an export figure of more than 5 million tons – an absolute record for the company. And intermediate results prove this!
Such high achievements of the company are quite logical and are ensured by a number of factors.
1. In 2013 NIBULON has opened new product markets of agricultural commodities. More than 30 thousand tons of corn have been shipped to Ireland, more than 11 thousand tons of wheat were directed to Vietnam. Besides, NIBULON’s presence in the market of South Korea has been extended. The delivery amount to this country has increased in three times.
2. Since August 2013 St. Mykolai self-propelled floating crane has been operating in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Commercial Sea Port. By using non-self-propelled vessels, St. Mykolai has loaded almost 430 thousand tons of wheat, corn, barley, rape seed and other crops.
3. In 2013 the company has successfully continued water transportation (by using its own fleet) on native navigable waterways. In 2013 navigation season there have been made more than 200 voyages along the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers, and the amount of transported products is more than 1.9 million tons (including for export).
4. This year the railway transportation amount has also increased. Since January 2013 the company (together with Ukrzaliznytsya) has organized 197 shipment routes and has already transported 1 million 178 thousand tons of agricultural products by rail transport, including under foreign economic contracts.
The company plans to finish this calendar year with a record figure of 1 million 230 thousand tons (212 shipment routes). Besides, the prospected results in the first half of 2013/14 marketing year (by the end of December) will also become maximal for the company and comprise 800 thousand tons of cargoes transported.
5. Today NIBULON increases its own capacities to take agricultural products for export. The company plans to develop its own transport infrastructure, thus, extending cooperation with commodity producers in the districts.
According to the results of work in the first half of this marketing year, NIBULON’s branches have ensured the record procurement of agricultural commodities! The leaders are the following branches: “Novoodes’ka” (Mykolayiv region) – 220.3 thousand tons; “Kozats’ka” (Kherson region) – 204.7 thousand tons; “Starobil’s’kyy elevator” Ltd (Lugansk region) – 195 thousand tons. The transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city has already transshipped almost 2.33 million tons of agricultural products, including 1.27 million tons that were procured.
Separate departments of NIBULON have already exceeded their own indices of procurement in comparison with the total amount taken last marketing year. For example, “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch (Zaporizhzhya region) has taken by 101.9 thousand tons more; “Artemivs’ka” branch (Poltava region) – by 61.8 thousand tons more; “Novoodes’ka” branch – by 35.8 thousand tons more. NIBULON’s main grain terminal has exceeded its last year’s figures by more than 130 thousand tons.
Summing up the results of successful 2013, it is arguable that today NIBULON demonstrates the best export results in the history of its activities. This ensures NIBULON’s recognition both in Ukraine and abroad!
