November 2013 became a symbolic for NIBULON: during this period the amount of grain export has reached the record level, namely 628 645 tons. Thus, for the first five months of 2013/2014 marketing year (MY) the company has already exported more than 2.44 million tons of grain which is by 45% more than in the analogous period of 2012/2013 MY and twice as many than in 2011/2012 MY. Totally, in the first six months of MY the company plans to export about 3 million tons of grain.
According to Valeriy Kunytskyy, a head of the foreign economic relations and marketing department, as of December 3 NIBULON has already loaded 65 vessels having shipped for export 1 127.2 thousand tons of corn, 654.2 thousand tons of wheat, 398.8 thousand tons of rape seed, 265.9 thousand tons of barley, 27.5 thousand tons of sorghum and 5.2 thousand tons of soybean.
“The record indices demonstrated by NIBULON in the first six months of 2013/2014 MY give the reasons to assert that this marketing year the company will ship for export more than 5 million tons of grain which is an absolute record for us”, says Valeriy Kunytskyy.
At present, according to the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, the share of NIBULON’s export is the biggest and comprises 15% of the all-Ukrainian export.
Such high achievements of NIBULON are quite logical. As it was reported earlier, in August St. Mykolai self-propelled floating crane, the largest one in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, started its operation in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Commercial Sea Port. At present the floating crane with daily capacity of up to 20 thousand tons performs its main task – to load PANAMAX vessels full.
“Today NIBULON, having increased its own export capacities, demonstrates the best figures in the history of our export activity. NIBULON will develop its own logistics infrastructure in order to meet the increasing volumes of Ukraine’s agrarian production”, mentions Valeriy Kunytskyy.
