NIBULON makes his way to an equator of the record marketing year. According to the intermediate results of the first five months of 2013/14 MY, the company’s export has already comprised 2.219 million tons.
The company plans to finish the current marketing year with the figure no less than 5 million tons of agricultural products shipped to the international markets!
For comparison: 2009/10 MY became a record year for the company. At that time for an analogues period of five months the company shipped for export more than 2 million tons, and the total figure comprised almost 5 million tons.
The major importers of the current marketing year are Tunisia, Israel, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, and Japan. Among crops there are corn (930 thousand tons), wheat (624 thousand tons), rape seed (398 thousand tons), and barley (266 thousand tons).
At Mykolayiv-based main transshipment terminal of NIBULON there have been loaded more than 100 vessels since 2013/14 MY.
We would remind you that the reference point of NIBULON’s export activity is considered to be August 2003 when the first vessel was loaded at the terminal. It became possible due to putting into operation of the facility for direct transshipment. D.S. PIONEER vessel with the export cargo (22 550. 895 tons) of fodder barley was a pathfinder. It was the first parcel of Ukraine’s grain of 2003 harvest shipped to Saudi Arabia.
