“The main task of our department is to ensure quick repair and efficient operation of farm machinery”, tells Volodymyr Yudin, a head of the department. Great responsibility is laid on his team, as harvesting and sowing campaign depend on the team’s activities.
In what way does the department manage to ensure operation of 22 production branches from Lugansk region to Khmelnytskyy region? “The branches have machinery and tractor stations that ensure a full cycle of farm operations on leased land”, explains Volodymyr Yudin, “Each station is an independent production unit that allows to perform a full cycle of farm operations following the agrotechnical terms of crop cultivation and ensuring high agricultural standards. Besides, in the regions there are service centers to repair and maintain machinery; each service center is equipped with a set of tools and special equipment to carry out high-quality repair and machinery maintenance”.
Yuliya Dolgopolova, an accountant, works in one of such service centers of the company in Starobilsk town (Lugansk region). Yuliya started to work at NIBULON after graduation from Lugansk National Agrarian University,
“As I have been working in the engineering and maintenance department since the very beginning, I can say that I am a specialist in the accounting and engineering sectors. In my work these two sectors are connected and supplement each other. Our engineering and maintenance department deals with development, planning, production, technical evaluation, study of product markets, control of product production processes, preparation of technical documentation, purchase and control of quality of inventory holdings, and also repair and renovation of agricultural machinery”.
According to Yuliya, for eight years of work at NIBULON she has managed to develop new qualities which are important for professional advancement, “While working in such a department, I must solve tasks scrupulously and make reasonable decisions.
At a distance of above 800 km from Starobilsk town, where Yuliya works, in Bystryk village (Zhytomyr region) Oleg Veselovskyy, a chief engineer of “Bystryts’ka” branch, watches over work organization and machinery condition of NIBULON.
NIBULON became Oleg’s first workplace, where he came after graduation from Mykolayiv National Agrarian University, “I always liked to work with machinery, to repair something. I appreciate the opportunity to work by specialty and I thank for trust of the company’s management”.
“Here everybody realizes that technical thinking is not a fiction but a way of life”, smiles Oleksandr Derevyanko, deputy head of the department, “Those who want to be engineers must like machinery, to be purposeful and to have nonstandard thinking, as every engineer must be an inventor and innovator”.
Mykola Burov, an engineer of Vradiyivka service center, recollects that for 15 years of work in NIBULON he has been an inventor more than once, “Coming to NIBULON in 1998, my colleagues and I was sent by the company to Germany, where I adopted knowledge and practices of the best European agricultural machinery producers. Before getting a job at NIBULON, I worked as a chief engineer at agricultural company in Mykolayiv region; thus, I was aware of machinery condition in Ukraine’s agriculture. Germany and NIBULON changed my conception of work level of the domestic agrarian sector. Innovation policy taken in the 1990s is being followed by the company. On the basis of the branches there are conducted trainings and seminars with the participation of foreign specialists. Using modern machinery and implementing the best practices of our foreign colleagues, we constantly act as innovators in agrarian production. At present our experience is adopted by other agricultural companies in the country”.
“When visiting us, representatives of foreign companies highly appreciate operation level of our agricultural machinery fleet”, stresses Volodymyr Yudin, “We try to be at a high level; thus, each our specialist strives for common result: good yield and qualitative grain”.
