During construction of each elevator complex of NIBULON at the site there work above 50 contracting organizations, more than one thousand workers from the whole Ukraine and abroad. NIBULON’s capital construction department knows how to cooperate and unite thousands of hands in a powerful force.   “It is not so easy to arrange labour of many people. It is a real miracle and a result of hard work to create a huge facility from nothing”, thinks Olena Yermakova, a head of the estimate and contract sector of NIBULON’s capital construction department, “At first I was impressed by NIBULON’s efficient construction organization”.   Olena Yermakova came to work for NIBULON ten years ago. At that time pace of construction in Ukraine did not impressed with its speed, “Having worked at Chernomorskyy Shipyard (Mykolayiv city) for 22 years I got a job in NIBULON and was surprised by novelty and range of engineering ideas of NIBULON’s management”.   It is easy to guess what novelty we are talking about recollecting that ten years ago NIBULON was engaged in construction of its high-tech transshipment terminal for shipment of grain and oil crops. This modern facility being unique not only in Ukraine but also in Europe was acknowledged to be the best industrial facility of Ukraine built and put into operation in 2004. And in 2008 by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No 569/2008 “On Awarding of the State Prizes in Architecture in 2008” the corporate authors headed by NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in Architecture. At present the unique grain storages are a symbol of not only Mykolayiv region, but also agro-industrial complex of the whole Ukraine.   Deputy General Director of Construction Sergiy Besedin started to construct Mykolayiv terminal as a worker of contracting organization. The company’s plans and tasks, prospects of career growth made him transfer to NIBULON.   Sergiy Besedin, a prize-winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Architecture, considers elevator complexes to be his main achievement. Due to hard work of the capital construction department, the volumes of grain storing were increased up to 1.7 mln tons.   “Those who come to our construction sites before commencement of construction are surprised by the fact that within two-three months on the waste areas there appear up-to-date high-tech complexes”, tells Sergiy Besedin, “Nobody believes that it is possible to construct qualitatively and quickly from nothing. For example, before starting construction of the transshipment terminal in Gradyz’k (Poltava region) there was a trash dump there and within three months there appeared our elevator complex on the bank of the Kremenchuk Reservoir. The elevator of “Smotrych” branch in Khmel’nytskyy region was constructed in the territory of the former storehouse of agricultural chemicals. Soil absorbed different dangerous substances at a depth of several meters, and the inhabitants had a number of diseases because of chemicals that damaged their health. NIBULON performed a huge amount of work, such as removal of dangerous soil, improvement of ecological situation there. We faced unfavourable weather conditions. But despite these difficulties in 78 days after festivities on the occasion of construction commencement we accepted the first grain trucks.   Sergiy Besedin explains the secret of NIBULON’s construction adventures, “The capital construction department and all contracting organizations cooperate as a single organism. It is not an easy task, as thousands of people come from different parts of Ukraine and different countries (at out sites there are workers from Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, the USA) in order to construct facility within 2-3 months. This work requires quick pace and serious result.   “Construction is very responsible work. We are responsible for facility operation”, thinks Natalya Zverzhynska, a head of the engineering sector, “We perform assembly of technological equipment. The team of our department has a goal – to complete construction within the time limit and to put the elevator into operation. They always reach it!”   Bogdan Klym, deputy head of the capital construction department, thinks that the secret of NIBULON’s success is unity, responsibility, and competitive spirit, “We never stop at what has been accomplished, improve our professional level, study, share experience with native and foreign colleagues. There are a lot of people in the department. Coming to our company they become real experts and support to us, older generation of builders”.    Oleksandr Sanko started to work for NIBULON as a recent graduate,   “I remember my first business trip – a construction site of the future elevator of “Romodan” branch in Poltava region. For the first time I saw such construction, a lot of people and construction machinery. I appreciate the work we do every day constructing high-tech elevator complexes in different regions of Ukraine”.   Today the capital construction department has a new task, namely reconstruction of the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”. The reconstruction project is being developed by the best foreign experts and world leaders in shipbuilding. The shipyard must become one of the world’s best and up-to-date shipbuilding enterprises.   Soon NIBULON’s builders will install 8 additional grain dryers at working elevator complexes. This will allow to increase the corn drying capacity by 700 tons per hour.   Builder’s Day is an important holiday for the whole NIBULON’s team.
