NIBULON always was and remains an example of transparent business and financial consciousness. Who is responsible for accounting in the company that has gained status of one of the best Ukrainian agricultural producers, the best exporter, benefactor and investor for 21 years of its successful activities?
“Our company is a recognized leader”, tells Svitlana Shulika, NIBULON’s chief accountant, “Accounting at such a company must be organized as efficiently as possible and in compliance with the highest standards. We keep up with legislative changes, experience of the leading countries. Due to its accounting NIBULON has become a model company to be competed with. We are proud that we strengthen the company’s image and reputation as an honest and law-abiding partner both for Ukrainian and international companies”.
Svitlana Shulika, Honored Economist of Ukraine and a real expert, considers constant study and interest in work to be the most important things for a good specialist. Svitlana Shulika devotes her free time to training. Diploma in International Financial Reporting, DipIFR of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (АССА, Great Britain) is among her latest achievements. АССА qualification corresponds to the international standards of training in the field of accounting of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
Lyudmyla Meheda, a deputy chief accountant, has been working for NIBULON since its creation. She remembers key achievements of the team well: creation of the first branches amidst the 90’s, a loan of the World Bank in 1998, construction of the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city in 2003, and others.
“The way NIBULON looks now is a merit of our company’s team and our General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy”, thinks Lyudmyla Meheda.
Tetyana Kvyatkovska, a leading accountant, is the first staffer of NIBULON, “I remember that at the beginning of the 90’s my friends get products instead of wages which had to be sold to maintain their families. The economic crisis passed NIBULON by in the 90’s.
On coming to a small company Tetyana Kvyatkovska has been working for NIBULON for more than 20 years, “Probably, I like it”, she jokes. She is responsible for wages accounting, “I perform my duties with responsibility. It is important for each employee to obtain wage in time. I think that all elements of accounting are of great value for efficient operation of the company”.
NIBULON numbers 4800 highly skilled employees all over Ukraine. In 2012 the company paid UAH 206.1 mln taxes and dues and invested UAH 561.6 mln in Ukraine’s economy. Two years running NIBULON gains the title “Prompt taxpayer” among large companies in the agricultural sector.
“There is nothing impossible for our company and General Director”, thinks Larysa Aristova, a leading accountant, “Work unites our team”.
Larysa Aristova has been working for the company for 15 years. While answering the question about influence of the legislative changes on the accountants, Larysa replies, “As native legislation improves, responsibility does not decrease. An accountant must be ready both for solving several important issues and lots of routine tasks”.
“A good accountant must understand each figure of accounting”, adds Mariya Poroshyna, a deputy chief accountant.
At present personnel of the accounting department of NIBULON in Mykolayiv city numbers 53 accountants. For 21 years of its activities the company’s amount of work has increased twice as much.
“The youth who comes to work for NIBULON is taught to follow legislative changes, perform their duties with interest, to be active and responsible”, tells Nataliya Medun, a deputy chief accountant, “The main thing is a wish to learn something new, to understand activities of the company and its structural subdivisions”.
Yuriy Grynyshak, an accountant of quantitative and qualitative accounting of grain, has worked at the transshipment terminal under the direction of Natalya Medun for many years, “I am grateful to Natalya Medun for her experience and skills she shared. Today I know for sure that I must have universal knowledge. An accountant must know everything and learn new things”.
“Responsibility and self-discipline are important qualities of a good accountant”, thinks Vyacheslav Kosenko. Vyacheslav got a job at NIBULON after his studies. Today he is a leading accountant of grain crops accounting.
For Yuliya Lipovetska NIBULON also was her first workplace. While working in NIBULON she does not stop studying. Now she is mastering the international standards of accounting, “A modern accountant must be competent in many issues: to know English, to keep up with changes of the Ukrainian and foreign legislation”.
“When hiring recent graduates we train the best specialists of accounting”, stresses Svitlana Shulika, “Our company gives great possibilities to the youth. I appreciate young people who tend to study, as successful activities of our company depend on professional advancement of each employee”.
