At the end of May NIBULON was visited by postgraduate students of Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe IAMO (Halle city, Germany). At present the educational institution carries out the scientific research concerning possibilities of grain export potential increase of Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Iryna Kulyk and Svitlana Renner, the visitors, study the export infrastructure development and logistics security, possibilities to improve the state regulation and administrative performance of export operations. The institute postgraduates have chosen NIBULON due to its unique experience in the river infrastructure development, construction of its own fleet, elevator complexes, and transshipment terminals. The guests visited NIBULON’s main sea terminal. During the meeting with Valeriy Kunytskyy, a head of the foreign economic relations and marketing department, Iryna Kulyk and Svitlana Renner discussed a number of questions relating to the scientific research, namely: – general characteristics of the company’s export business; – difficulties during export activities (obtaining of quality certificates, permitted documents); – the company’s export geography, its structure and amount; – logistics development (a network of NIBULON’s own elevator complexes and transshipment terminals, fleet, truck fleet); – port and transport infrastructure operation in view of Ukrainian realities; – procedure of grain storages certification, obtaining of permitted documents; – influence of the state export limitations on NIBULON’s activities and other players of the Ukrainian agrarian market. On completion of the meeting the postgraduates thanked for NIBULON’s transparency and its significant contribution to the scientific research. They assured that the results would be given to the company as a mark of gratitude for cooperation.
