Cooperating with NIBULON, Kherson region (together with Kyiv region) felt positive changes due to implementation of one of NIBULON’s principles, namely socially responsible business. 2012, a year of the first NIBULON’s transshipment terminal construction in Kherson region, became a year of step-by-step and purposeful implementation of NIBULON’s social initiatives. We would remind you that on July 5, 2012 there was put into operation the transshipment terminal of “Kozats’ka” branch constructed within three months. The locals felt positive changes from the company’s arrival to the region. Before starting the transshipment terminal construction the village budget received funds from a land plot sale. On receiving the funds, the community carried out a capital repair in the kindergarten “Kazka”. There was performed a complex of repair work: furniture was purchased, children groups, a gym, a kitchen were renovated, doors and window units were replaced. The comprehensive secondary school also felt changes for the better. A school yard and informatics classroom were repaired, there were purchased computers, multimedia board and furniture for physics laboratory. Toilets on two floors were repaired. The amount of performed work comprised above UAH 416 thousand. Besides the above mentioned facilities of the social infrastructure, due to these funds the roads (for the amount of about UAH 2.5 mln) were repaired, lighting of streets with length of about 3 km was conducted. In 2013 the principle of responsibility among the authorities, society and business continues to work. On March 11 there was presented the repaired house of culture. The work at the cost of UAH 200 thousand was performed due to the funds received from NIBULON. In the house of culture there were replaced windows and doors, an assembly hall was repaired, in particular inside repairs were performed, linoleum was laid, and furniture was changed. According to the representatives of the regional and local administrations, while drawing allocated funds, both they and the community work at a rapid pace set by NIBULON. Kozats’ke town follows the example of the company, everything is done quickly and qualitatively. Thus, the workload gives a fruitful result. In this case it is a repaired house of culture, pride of the locals. NIBULON, in its turn, continues to participate in the town life actively. The newly-built “Kozats’ka” branch operates fully, taxes are paid to the budgets of all levels regularly, and new workplaces have been created. Thus, NIBULON’s cooperation with the local community continues.
