On May 25, 2012 the district review-competition of the non-military firefighting teams of the economic companies of the district was held at the “Kolos” stadium in Tetiyiv town (Kyiv region). 31 teams were invited to take part in a fire-applied sport competition. But only 17 teams took part in a competition.
It is necessary to mention of “Denykhivs’ka” branch team of “NIBULON” headed by Andriy Shevchenko, the expert of the fire safety service of the central office. This team showed splendid results. Ivan Shutak, Mykola Myagchenko, Oleksandr Korniychuk, Oleksand Troyans’kyy, Mykhailo Rudenko defended the honor of the team. During competition “NIBULON’s” team used the fire fighting vehicle of the company and two fire extinguishers VP-9.
Competition was held according to three main directions:-
– 100 m of the obstacle course;
– the fire race of 4 x 100 m with fire extinguishing;
– the firefighting equipment demonstration with water intake and water supply from the water storage basin.
In competition according to all three directions the team of “Denykhivs’ka” branch took prize-winning places, such as the Ist place in passing of 100m of the obstacle course, the Ist place in fire equipment demonstration, the IInd place in the fire race passing of 4 х 100 m. Taking into account the high level of works execution, participants training and also the fire equipment condition, “NIBULON’s” team took the Ist honorable team place in district competition of the fire-applied sport among non-military firefighting formations.
It is necessary to remind that “NIBULON’s” team of “Novoodes’ka” branch took the IInd place in a similar district competition in Mykolayiv region last year. These results confirm the high level of the company’s personnel training and their readiness to solve difficult tasks promptly and efficiently. Fire brigades of “NIBULON’s” branches are ready to provide help in firefighting in districts where they are located. Take the case alone, when the fire-extinguishing tanker of “Mriya” branch (Kamyanets’-Podil’s’kyy district, Khmel’nyts’kyy region), taking part in firefighting in a village, arrived at a fire place prior to vehicles of the fire station! Besides, the firefighting units of “Vitove” branch (Chygyryns’kyy district, Cherkas’ka region) took part in the forest firefighting several times.
The high level of “NIBULON’s” technical support also contributes to such results. 11 new ATS-40 vehicles were bought with total cost of above UAH 5 mln for the fire brigades formation in new branches. Also the company has the single in Mykolayiv region hydraulic mobile aerial tower, which is located at the transshipment terminal. 17 firefighting vehicles, being in firefighting readiness, are on the company`s books. 4 branches are supplied with MP-1600 firefighting pumps. All firemen, who work at firefighting units of “NIBULON”, underwent obligatory special training and are supplied with all necessary uniform.
The important fact is that “NIBULON’s” branches have never had any cases of fires. This fact is indicative of perfect carrying out of the preventive work by the fire protection service of the company’s central office.
