Status of the transshipment terminal construction of “Kozats’ka” branch as of 25.05.2012

The construction of “NIBULON’s” transshipment terminal in Kozats’ke village (Beryslav district Kherson region), the first company’s terminal in this region, enters the final straight.   On May 25, the next production meeting was held at the site under the direction of Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, the General Director of “NIBULON”, and with participation of directors of contracting organizations. Yaroslav Pavlivs’kyy, head of Beryslav district state administration, and Andryy Chirko, the head of Kozats’ke village council, became partners of the company.   The main topic of the meeting was compliance with the target rates of the construction and catching up with delay at some sites. The terminal construction was previously planned in such a way that the terminal could accept grain of this year’s crop. But nature has made some corrections. Because of early ripening of crops the agrarians will start to gather the crop earlier. Therefore the terminal in Kozats’ke village must be ready for such a situation.   The meeting started with traditional walking along the large construction site and with contractors reports of the works performed. For a number of facilities final dates of their delivery to a customer have already been planned. These dates were established concerning each particular case after certain discussion.   Many words were spoken about difficulties the builders run into. The site of “Kozats’ka” branch is not simple at all. The previous plant left oil sewages, wastes. It all should be dug out and removed. Additional time and money are necessary for this activity. For instance, at a depth of two meters, there was found an old railroad, “heritage” of the Soviet Union. So, we needed additional demolition works, additional involvement of people, and it is waste of time. However no difficulties influence on working speed, schedules are not changed and not postponed.   Except the discussion of the construction issues during the meeting there was raised an issue of good neighborhood with locals. It was decided that the hill above the site would be planted with trees. It will be done for people. This small park will be a decoration not only for the terminal but also for the whole village. There are no doubts that the park will become one of the most favorite places among locals.   In its turn, contracting organizations being involved in the construction, have to left the facility after completion of works properly and to pay locals for their services (accommodation, feeding, etc) so that “NIBULON” will not receive any claims.   Let’s return to construction matters. Schedules of works performance are the following:   “Olesya” company will have performed the metal structures assembly of the operating tower by May 25, will have finished the construction works in the administrative and laboratory building by May 30, will have installed all supports of external lightning by June 10.   “Berezan” company will have performed the assembly of water pipeline and gas pipeline by June 1 and will have installed the pipeline of water depression by June 10.   “Donbasatomenerghomontazh” company will have delivered foundations of dryers and silos of moist grain by June 1.   “Akvilon” company will have put into operation 600 sq.m. of the access road.   “Svitloluykselektromontazh” company will have applied a voltage to the transformer substation by June 1 and will have provided illumination for the facility by June 10.     “Dniprobud” company will have performed decorating works in the elevator tower and in the weighting station by June 6.   “Gydrotechnology” company will have finished the preparation of mooring equipment by June.   “BAGVAM” company will have performed the rough assembly of sanitary engineering systems of the object by June 8.   “TCS” company will have finished the steel constructions assembly of the truck tipper by June 10.   Besides, other assembly operations are being continued. Viktor Mitrov, deputy director of “PDSP-10” company, says, “Our company is performing the assembly of galleries, we have started the equipment installation inside the galleries. Lower galleries have been installed by 80%, the assembly of upper galleries has already started. The only one thing that constrains is the absence of bridges for upper galleries. This problem will be solved the other day and the works will be activated”.   At the end of the meeting, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy addressed to the directors of building organizations “You are our partners and you have to perform your work properly. Mutual financial obligations continue and after the facility have been put into operation. Let one, two, three years pass but if it turns out that the works have been performed incorrectly there will be no excuse. We will require within the law to compensate defect at the expense of the company which built.   Concerning the financial part of our cooperation you should not pay cash to contractors. Your work must be legal: legal salary payment, legal purchase of material assets, legal repayment of taxes, etc. You should follow the example of our company. For example, “NIBULON, one of the biggest taxpayer in the native agricultural sector, paid 174 mln hrn of taxes last year! Remember that in case of claims addressed to you and our partners, the shadow of mistrust will fall on “NIBULON”.   Yaroslav Pavlivs’kyy, head of Beryslav district state administration, promised to support the company’s investment project in the region in future. According to him the working groups arranged by Mykola Kostyak, head of Kherson regional state administration, and he personally with a team conduct active work to perform suitable conditions for the terminal work. “The region must be proud of such a strong and famous investor that has come to Kherson”, he notices.   The next production meeting will be held on May 30.   See the photo report below.
