On April 24th -26th, 2012 the next International ecological forum “Environment for Ukraine” was held in Kyiv. The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine and Ukrainian Environmental League. The main topic of the 2012 Forum was a discussion of ways to create a basis for forming a clean environment, both in Ukraine and neighboring countries. Companies that represented CIS countries, foreign countries and international organizations concerned with issues of sustainable development, environmental protection and strengthening of environmental safety participated in the Forum. During the Forum a number of events was held, including V International Exhibition “Environment 2012”, the leading topics of which, along with traditional, were energy conservation and organic farming issues. An exposition of “NIBULON” aroused interest of the Forum participants and the exhibition guests. It was dedicated to the environmental component of implementation of the investment project on the revival of the Dnipro and the Southern Bug rivers as shipping waterways of Ukraine. New high-tech elevators and transshipment terminals are constructed and are continued to be constructed, self-propelled and non-self-propelled fleet is created within the project. The investment program implementation has a strong environmental effect by reducing emissions of pollutants into the air through the replacement of road transport on the water transport. At the elevators that are built within the investment project, a great attention is paid to the environmental component. A number of precautions to protect the environment is used to limit the impact of production processes on the environment. Annual environmental audits are conducted within the company. “NIBULON’s” exposition provided an opportunity for all interested to learn more about the company in environmental protection, conservation and restoration of natural resources sphere. The company is building its work in accordance with international standards of ecological culture. This component of the business is the key to respect and support of the company by Ukrainian community.
