“NIBULON” is well known in the world as one of the leaders of the Ukrainian grain market. Geography of export of the company spans the globe – from Japan to Mexico (60 countries of the world). Our main weapon is honest and competitive struggle. Many people in the world perceive “NIBULON” as the agricultural leader of Ukraine, because the company has opened and is still opening world sales markets to Ukraine. But one of the greatest prides of “NIBULON’s” team is the fact that it is a unique company in Ukraine, which has achieved success as a provider of agricultural production within the UN «World Food Programme». This Program is the world`s largest humanitarian organization that fights with hunger worldwide. It provides a supply of food to the countries, where it is most needed – where there is a military conflict, a natural disaster, an epidemic, etc. «World Food Programme» was established in 1962 and is a part of the system of the United Nations and is on the foundation of voluntary donations. The primary mission slogan: “We want to see the world where every man, every woman and every child at any time has an access to food needed to support active and healthy life.” The Program`s objectives are: to save people’s lives and help them to survive in emergency situations, to prevent hunger and take action to bring relief fates of the starving; to restore ruined household and bring people back to a normal life, to reduce the level of chronic hunger and malnutrition; to strengthen the capacity of countries in order to reduce the level of hunger there. There is a cooperation with other agencies to achieve this goal – such as the Food and Agricultural Organization, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, as well as with governments of different countries, other UN agencies, private companies. “NIBULON” is a longtime member of this Program, we support its aims and promote their implementation, thereby raising the prestige of Ukraine in the world. We actively participate in tenders conducted by the UN within the Program. During the loading of ships, we create all necessary conditions for representatives of all organizations that control the process. This in particular concerns surveyors, whose organizations are directly chosen and appointed by the UN. These specialists divide the whole batch into lots (500 tons), while checking the quality of grain. If at least one lot does not meet ordered contract indices, they are entitled to abandon the whole batch. To its credit, “NIBULON” has never had such situation. Since 2008, when “NIBULON” got involved into the Program, we have already loaded 42 vessels (which is about 730 thousand tons of food wheat), that headed for Pakistan, North Korea, Ethiopia, Sudan, Bangladesh, Palestine. January 16, 2012 within the World Food Program 6 300 tons of food wheat were shipped inboard of «VECHTDIEP» vessel at the transshipment terminal (Mykolayiv city). Grains headed for Palestine, where people are suffering from military conflicts.
