From the 2nd till the 5th of June 2011, XXIII International agro-industrial exhibition “AGRO-2010” was held in Kyiv. This exhibition is recognized the largest and most prestigious nationwide event in agricultural sphere of Ukraine and each year attracts increasing attention of domestic and foreign participants. This large-scale exhibition event is aimed at dissemination of innovative energy and resource saving technologies, introduction of modern, cost-effective technologies into agricultural enterprises in Ukraine, attracting farmers to the development and implementation of public programs for development of agricultural complex as a powerful sector of Ukraine. The purpose of this year’s exhibition is:providing the development of infrastructure of agrarian sector of Ukraine’s economy, presentation of unique opportunities of Ukrainian agrarian market, enforcement of the impact on scientific, technical and technological renewal of agricultural production, stimulating the development of transparent competitive environment for Ukrainian producers, promotion of their products in domestic and foreign markets. The number of participants indicates on the significance of the event. More than 500 firms and companies from 25 regions of Ukraine, over 100 foreign companies from 18 countries took part in the exhibition. Participation of firms, companies and delegations from Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, the USA, Germany, Argentina, Denmark, China, Poland, the Czech Republic and others is an evidence of high interest to the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine from foreign states. Expositions of “NIBULON” were represented on stands of Mykolayiv and Kyiv regions. They were dedicated to the implementation of the company’s innovative investment program on the revival of the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers as shipping waterways of Ukraine. During the exhibition visitors got acquainted with the exposition of the company, were interested in the course of its implementation, spoke with specialists of the company. Ukrainian and foreign guests were impressed by the scale of the project, which involves the construction of 17 elevators, 10 of which are transshipment terminals, construction of 57 non-self-propelled vessels and self-propelled vessels of mixed (river-sea) navigation and 14 sea and river tugs. According to visitors of “NIBULON’s” exhibition, the company demonstrates the possibility to unite all unindifferent people in one team for the joint implementation of a unified national program. Investment project of the company demonstrates that Ukraine has advanced logistics system, competent use of which should bring real economic benefit to the Ukrainians. In addition, a key direction of company’s business activity is livestock and, in particular, production line of own meat products. Meat products of the company do not contain any “chemistry”, it is a hundred percent natural and safe. They are made according to government standards, only natural meat and spices are used. So among all the stands from different regions of Ukraine and countries that represented various sausages, exhibition of “NIBULON”, which presented own meat products of the company, stood out. An extremely diverse range of products delighted the eye and the taste of guests: smoked sausages (“Armavirs’ka”, “Poltavs’ka”, “Krakivs’ka” , “Tallinns’ka”, “Odes’ka”, “Ukrains’ka”), boiled-smoked sausages (“Servelat”, “Moskovs’ka”), cooked sausages (“Doktors’ka, “Lyubytel’s’ka, “Molochna”), sausages, milk sausages, smoked bacon, “Selyans’ke” lard. Also within the exhibition Agricultural Forum “World Food Security: Challenges for the agricultural sector”, specialized and national exhibitions – with the participation of members of the Ministries of Agriculture from 29 countries worldwide were held. International agro-industrial exhibition “AGRO-2010” showed that the domestic agricultural sector with the support of foreign investment is the future of the national economy and should serve as its locomotive.
