Thus, seven vessels are being constructed at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. The first non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel (manufacturing order No.10026)The outfitting is being finished. The shipbuilders keep getting a hatch cover opening and closing mechanism up and running. They also finish painting the buoyancy compartments. Upon completion of all necessary trials, the vessel will be put into operation. It is planned to put it into operation in the first half of May. The second non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel (manufacturing order No. 10027) The specialists are welding the erection joint of fore and aft half-hulls; they are installing equipment in the forepeak. The shipbuilders are preparing the buoyancy compartments of the fore half-hull for approval, performing preliminary cleaning and painting. Upon completion of tests for tightness of all compartments and performing of external painting, the vessel will be launched for outfitting works. The first and the second T3500 project tugs (manufacturing orders No. 10010 and No. 10011) The superstructure has been installed on the first tug. The shipbuilders are forming the bulwarks. They are assembling the hull structures framing the rudder propellers from Rolls-Royce (Finland) in the vessel’s aft.At the same time, the specialists are installing pipes of the ballast and drainage systems. They are also testing bottom and side fitting. They are preparing to install a pilot house, a mast, and trunks of funnels on the vessel. The shipbuilders keep forming the second tug’s hull on the building berth. The assembly and fabrication workshop continues producing hull sections of the forebody, as well as a pilot house. The first and the second POSS-115 project tugs (manufacturing orders No. 10028 and No. 10029)NIBULON’s shipbuilders have started constructing the first sections of the tugs. The metal processing workshop continues metal cutting and bending to produce hulls of two tugs. The self-propelled P-140 project floating crane (manufacturing order No.10032)The specialists of the metal processing workshop are cutting parts and bending metal to produce the vessel’s hull. Meanwhile, the specialists of the assembly and fabrication workshop have started forming the first section of the vessel. It should be noted that such an active implementation of the company's shipbuilding program is a positive signal for Ukrainian metallurgists. This is not only because we use Ukrainian steel to construct vessels that will operate under the Ukrainian flag. NIBULON will also transport Ukrainian metal by river. On May 23, 2018, a solemn opening of the 24th International Exhibition “Shipbuilding-2018” and the 16th Specialized Exhibition “Water Transport” will be held at 11.00 a.m. at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard (2/1 Kabotazhnyi Spusk, Mykolaiv). We invite you to attend the event.
