At present the total readiness of the latter exceeds 52 %, the tug is being prepared for launching for further outfitting.
Shipbuilding progress of the second tug is for your attention.
1. Recently, the vessel has been moved to the prestart position, and on completion of the operations that require moorage on an even keel (zero heel and trim), the tug will be placed on carriages and prepared for launching.
2. In the engine room there has been completed centering of the main engines; they are being mounted.
3. The pilot house has been formed completely; it is being cleaned and prepared for painting.
4. Painting of the vessel’s underbody is in the homestretch; the vessel’s freeboard and the superstructure’s outer part of are being painted.
5. Test of bottom and aboard fitting, sea chests has been completed; they are being painted.
6. Assembly of pipes is being performed in the tanks and engine room.
7. Cable is being installed in the tug’s spaces; main switchboard is being prepared for installation on the vessel.
8. In the living accommodations there are being continued outfitting works; the spaces are being prepared for pouring, installation of insulation and panel plating.
9. Spaces are being tested for tightness.
10. There is being continued preparation for cement ballast pouring in the towknees.
11. The vessel’s fendering protection has been mounted.
We would remind you that in the near future there will be held solemnities on the occasion of putting into operation of NIBULON-5 tug. Besides, on this day NIBULON-6 tug will be launched for outfitting, and the series of shallow-draught tugs of POSS-121 project will be laid.
