On October 12, the 3rd International Forum for Integration and Cooperation “InCo Forum 2018” will be held in Zaporizhzhia. NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy will also participate in it. His speech will be accompanied by a live stream from the construction site, where the first pile of the new high-capacity transshipment terminal in Ternivka village (Vilniansk district) will be rammed. It will be NIBULON’s third facility in Zaporizhzhia region.
About 1,500 specialists from 70 contracting organizations from almost all regions of Ukraine will be involved in constructing NIBULON’s high-capacity transshipment. In total, about 3,500 piles (105,000 rm) will be rammed, and 5-6 ferroconcrete products plants will have a workload; 100,000 m3 of soil will be brought, 13,600 m3 of concrete structures will be produced, and more than 29,400 m2 will be concreted; 3,640 tons of metalware will be mounted, and a 130-m berth will be constructed (200 tons of groove with a total length of more than 3 km).
In addition, NIBULON will dredge 1,821 m of the left tributary of the Dnipro River – the Ploska Osokorivka River – to ensure the water approach to the transshipment terminal. As a result of dredging operations, 286,000 m3 of bottom soil will be removed.
The high-tech transshipment terminal in Ternivka will provide jobs for about 120 people, reduce the commodity transport expenses of the region’s farmers, as well as will contribute more than UAH 2.7 million in taxes annually to the local budget. The facility is planned to be put into operation in June 2019. The construction of the terminal in Ternivka will comprise an investment of USD 19 million.
NIBULON constructed its first terminal in Zaporizhzhia region – “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch – in 2010. In June 2017, the company inaugurated its transshipment terminal of “Khortytsia” branch in Bilenke village (Zaporizhzhia district) in the presence of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman, representatives of international financial institutions, and ambassadors of foreign countries. NIBULON’s appearance in Bilenke village was of great social significance for local inhabitants. At the beginning of April 2017, a complex of treatment facilities, completed and reconstructed by NIBULON, was transferred to the local community. It was a historical event for the whole village because people have waited for this important object of social infrastructure for more than 20 years. In addition, the company also equipped a modern computer classroom at the local school, built a football pitch with a natural green covering and irrigation system, repaired road, and equipped a recreation park on the bank of the Dnipro River adjacent to the transshipment terminal.
Thus, NIBULON’s next investment project in Zaporizhzhia region is additional profit for the local farmers, significant funds to the local budgets, new jobs, and stimulus to the development of many other sectors of Ukraine’s economy.
