NIBULON’s Investment Program Returns to Kherson Region

A new terminal in Hola Prystan town will become the second company’s terminal in the region, along with the transshipment terminal in Kozatske village of Beryslav district.  Since its commission in 2012 NIBULON has managed to close a chain of its own transshipment terminals having made a route along the Dnipro River from Kyiv to the main transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv.
Presentation of a new NIBULON’s project took place as part of International Investment Forum “Tavrian Horizons”. Please find hereby Oleksiy Vadaturskyy’s report “Opportunities to create a powerful transport hub of Ukraine by developing transport logistics” for International Investment Forum “Tavrian Horizons”.
Head of Kherson Regional State Administration Andrii Hordieiev, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Viacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Director of the Department for Attracting Investments of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Oksana Hryshkevych, the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Ukraine Stolye Zemjkosky visited the future construction site.
Step-by-step regeneration of the country
“Investment attraction is the first-priority question the President of Ukraine poses”, said Andrii Hordieiev. “We have to do everything to make work in our region safe, so created investment climate would allow investing money in Kherson region, to create workplaces, so our children and grandchildren could live in Hola Prystan, Skadovsk and in other towns and villages of our region. This is the main mission now. This is what NIBULON is doing: half a billion UAH to Hola Prystan’s budget, 1.5 thousand workplaces during construction process of the complex, 150 workplaces after its commission, official salary”.
Possibility to transport commodity by NIBULON’s fleet (watermelons, etc) became an important issue for agricultural commodity producers. Thus, Head of Kherson Regional State Administration pointed out that approximate watermelon price in the region comprised UAH 0.30-0.50 per 1 kg. The logistic infrastructure created by NIBULON will allow us to transport products from watermelon fields, fruit and vegetables from Kherson region to the north of Ukraine and even to Belarus. This will become a sharp intake of breath for the Left-bank Kherson region.
“This is what under step-by-step regeneration of our country meant. This is what our soldiers are fighting for at the front-line. This is what we work for”, noted Andrii Hordieiev.
A powerful investor enters the town
First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Viacheslav Nehoda congratulated the guests on an important and unique event for the region, “Today a symbolic laying of a future foundation for a big centre for development of your town, Kherson region, and the entire Ukraine is taking place. This is the event of enormous importance. Lately, Investors rarely have invested money. It is not so easy to invest in Ukraine as the country is under the conditions of military aggression”.
“The historical event is taking place in Hola Prystan”, confirmed Hola Prystan Mayor Oleksandr Babych. “The first pile will be rammed today and it symbolizes appearance of a powerful investor. Unfortunately, investors not so often happen in our town, that is why I assure the town council and the executive committee are focused on creation of proper conditions to attract investors to our town who will work honestly, will pay taxes and will help to develop our authority. Hola Prystan will support all investment projects and programs”.
“Successful business requires gifted managers and businessmen who love their country and nation. I’m glad to acquaintance with Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. He is a model of how one should love Ukraine and work for its benefit”, shared his impressions the Ambassador of Macedonia to Ukraine Stolye Zemjkosky.
The most advanced company’s terminal
On July, 2016, implementation of the huge investment program during personal meeting of Head of Kherson Regional State Administration with NIBULON’s General Director, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy at the newly built transshipment terminal of “Voznesens’ka” branch (Mykolaiv region) was started. Andriy Hordieiev was impressed by the high-tech transshipment terminal built in 100 days. That is why Kherson region governor’s team created proper conditions for implementation of NIBULON’s investment project. “It’s an example for other officials and for the entire Ukraine how one should work. We are solving the formal issues rather quickly and within some period we will able to start construction process”, emphasized Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
Ramming the first pile on September 30, 2016, symbolized the start of NIBULON’s investment project implementation in Hola Prystan district and start of future construction process. According to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, on September 28 the lease with town council was signed, at the beginning of August all the necessary documents for property rights to all the buildings were signed. At present the specialists are performing design works.
He noted that the new facility in Hola Prystan, as well as the terminal in Voznesensk district, would be built within a short period of time, “We will ram here more than 3 thousand piles so 5-6 piling machines will work round-the-clock. In the near future you will not recognize this site. It will become a positive stress for the town and for the entire region”.
Oleksiy Vadaturskyy told that there was rivalry between candidates inside the company to move to the new terminal as the terminal would become the most advanced company’s facility, “Considering our employees’ suggestions, professional tendencies, we construct every new branch even better than a previous one. Thus, we will install a special lift to an observation place enabling one to see all the picturesque places near our branch”.
A new terminal in Hola Prystan will become a new milestone in NIBULON’s history. This is the 25th company’s facility. This is symbolically that decision about its construction NIBULON announced on the eve of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and the 25th anniversary since the company was founded.
Benefits for agricultural producers
According to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, a new complex will allow us to facilitate logistics, reduce expenses for shipment of grain and oilseeds for agricultural producers, “Agricultural producers within 100 km area will be able to make from 3 to 4 trips using one truck, reducing a need in additional transport by 3-4 times compared to grain transportation to Kherson or Mykolaiv”.
Moreover, further development of navigation along the Dnipro River will significantly decrease anthropogenic impact on the highways of the country. This will positively influence the environment due to significant reduction of fuel combustion product emissions.
Only lazy one doesn’t criticize Ukraine for the road conditions. We will remove trucks from the highways by ourselves, proving how one can do it. The branch in Hola Prystan and another company’s terminal in Beryslav district will remove 600-700 thousand tons of grain from the highways of Ukraine”, added Oleksiy Vadaturskyy
During implementation of the program the services of national agriculture leader will be close to agricultural producers, allowing us to create proper conditions for grain receipt and to raise agrarian sector of the region.  According to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, agricultural producers will be exporters of grain in Ukraine having received access to the world economy and trade.
NIBULON’s project for Kherson region brings extra profit for local agrarians, significant stable revenues to local and regional budgets, workplaces for local builders and citizens of coastal areas.
