On October 5th, Ukraine joined the rest of the world in celebrating World Teachers’ Day. For two communities in the Chyhyryn district, where NIBULON operates its agricultural production, this holiday was particularly memorable, as their schools received modern computer classrooms.
The Vershatsky Gymnasium and the Maksym Zalizniak Lyceum in Medvedivka are the first two schools to receive fully equipped computer labs, giving students access to up-to-date digital learning tools. This represents the second phase of cooperation between NIBULON and the Educational Initiatives Foundation under the Unbreakable Education project, which is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
“Such assistance – especially in such a short time – is extremely important for our communities. Most of them are small, and their schools are often under-enrolled and underfunded, struggling even with basic needs — let alone upgrading computer equipment. This is a real celebration for both teachers and students!” – says Antonina Lubyana, head of the land relations sector of the Chyhyryn cluster of NIBULON.
“We are sincerely grateful to NIBULON for its technical support, involvement in the project, and assistance in making sure that this equipment goes exactly where it is really needed. Thanks to this partnership and commitment, we can take actionable steps to rebuild education in communities that are often overlooked. This is a very important collaboration that positively impacts the lives of children and teachers in rural schools,” adds Anton Dzyuba, Chairman of the Board of the Educational Initiatives Foundation.
