“It is very important for me, as a Mykolayiv citizen and NIBULON’s general director, to always keep the principle of honest and fair coexistence with the citizens. I live and work in Mykolayiv city and do not plan to change the place of my activity, and that is why I always take care of my reputation. Many people can live from hand to mouth not thinking about tomorrow. I, as a general director of the company which is famous far beyond Ukraine, must make a lot of administrative strategic decisions every day, and it is very important for me to approach everything reasonably, as these decisions affect not only my future but also the future of my employees and their relatives. I am sure that such a reasonable approach allowed to overcome a lot of difficulties in NIBULON’s life and many obstacles appeared in the way of its formation. Such an approach makes it possible for me not to hide from different questions of mass media. Ask questions, if you want. I am open for a dialogue. But, obviously, such a course of affairs is not always advantageous.
Recently, in order to draw attention to some events or to make them important and resonant, mass-media representatives try to depict me negatively using my publicity, the Hero of Ukraine title and adding the word “billionaire” and the company’s name . This time it concerns the land plot located at the address 23 Mendeleev Line of Korabelnyy district, Mykolayiv city. I must inform that the following information will disappoint those who are searching for hot facts and want to deceive the citizens.
Thus, in 2008 the land plot with an area of 1.10 ha was allocated to me legally. I must admit that according to the Article 121, every Ukraine’s citizen has a right for a plot to be given free from land of municipal property for construction and service of a house, utility rooms and buildings with an area of not more than 0.10 ha in the cities. Thus, being Ukraine’s citizen, I also have such a right. Land plot allocation proves that I did not have any land plots in the past and will not have them in the future. Consequently, I have not used such a right before. Moreover, I have never visited this land plot. But when the members of my family visited this place and informed that it was a forest, I refused to construct there. Consequently, I did not perform any works there, including deforestation. None of trees or bushes was destroyed. It can be confirmed by absence of any documents (projects, permits, etc.) to build up or to deforest this territory which are given upon applying to the appropriate state instances. Thus, this fact testifies that I have no intentions to build up this territory. I can easily live without this plot.
At present the above mentioned land plot belongs neither to me nor to the members of my family; as far as I know, no works are carried out there.
