On July 2, 2012 under the chairmanship of Mykola Kostyak, the head of Kherson Regional State Administration, there were held festivities on the occasion of putting into operation of “NIBULON’s” transshipment terminal of “Kozats’ka” branch in Kherson region. A week has not yet passed after a solemn putting into operation of the transshipment terminal and the “young” terminal has started to accept agricultural commodities from agrarians. At present 45 thousand tons of agricultural products have been taken. On September 12, 2012 “NIBULON’s” non-self-propelled vessel was loaded at the terminal. It testified that “NIBULON” managed to close a chain of its own transshipment terminals having made a route along the Dnipro river to the main transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city. At present there have been loaded 9 “NIBULON’s” non-self-propelled vessels at the transshipment terminal of “Kozats’ka” branch. Therefore, an export activity of the region starts from “Kozats’ka” branch, and local producers may consider themselves to be entities of foreign economic activity supplying grain to different countries. Besides, construction of the terminal in Kozats’ke town has a great social value for the locals as it allows them to decide issues as to employment. The young generation could also feel positive changes – the company allocates funds for the infrastructure development, including school, kindergarten, and house of culture.
