A young “Novoodes’ka” branch: results and facts

As we have reported earlier, the construction of the transshipment terminal of “Novoodes’ka” branch of “NIBULON” is completed – within the investment project of the company for the revival of the navigation along the Southern Bug. The construction of the transshipment terminal in Nova Odesa is not the only investment display of our company within the frames of the investment project. Professionals of the company have developed and are developing construction projects of new elevator complexes. The construction of own fleet is looking forward to further continuation. We want to announce with regret that non-transparent allocation of quotas and hence uncertainty in the grain market are forcing us to suspend the investment program. When the situation in the domestic grain market will be normalized, we are ready to immediately resume the implementation of our project. But despite all the hardships, Nova Odesa city has confidently entered “NIBULON’s” family. Nine months have passed since the idea was realized in life. This was a difficult but an interesting road: conception of the construction of a modern terminal on the coast of the Southern Bug, coordination and execution of all required documents for allotment of land for construction, development of the project and its coordination, hard work with district and regional authorities, deputy corps, public agencies and regulatory authorities, and construction of the facility itself in harsh winter conditions. It’s no matter how hard we tried to coordinate all the necessary papers, but we are grateful for such immediate result to the authorities, deputy corps and the Mayor of Nova Odesa (in particular, for immediately conducted extraordinary session), deputy corps of Mykolayiv Regional Council, the Head of Mykolayiv Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov and Mykolayiv Regional Administration staff. We are grateful to all supervisory inspections for support and understanding. We believe that not only our company but also builders appreciate the power structures and support of Mykola Kruglov in particular. Indeed, we all showed a stunning example of successful cooperation between government and business. Special thanks to the masters of architecture – the builders, people who in spite of adverse weather conditions, severe and prolonged frost, day after day with their dedicated work put into reality our common idea. Now when the construction of the transshipment terminal is completed, you can see beautiful granaries and fountains on the place where only bare ground was, – and you understand the significance of this project, it is an impetus for the development of agricultural and shipbuilding sectors. If we pay attention to the fact that the project was implemented with support of our partners – the EBRD and the Danish Export Credit Fund, it becomes clear that the investment project of “NIBULON” is a bright example of how one can and should invest in the domestic economy. The elevator is no exception for our company because we construct very fast, modern and professionally in many other regions of Ukraine. So look up to us, but in any case do not think that it was fairly easy to do it, especially for us – Ukrainian company. Here is the result of hard work of professionals and a fair competition in the domestic and global markets! Is not that enough to understand the meaning and scope of this project? We will continue! The appearance of the transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv region is a huge benefit for the region and local farmers. Because now farmers become closer to us and they will be able to save (due to the significant reduction of route) and get a fair price for the products grown. Every agrarian can use an opportunity! People of Mykolayiv city will also receive a positive impact of this facility! After all, a number of agricultural products intaken by “NIBULON’s” Novoodes’ka transshipment elevator will not be transported to Mykolayiv by cargo motor transport, but it will arrive by water. Thus, the air will be cleaner and the roads will be unloaded. It is rather difficult to work successfully in today’s Ukraine, bringing real benefit to the country and the region. But we are not going to stop. The goal we reached is the result of a comprehensive and professional approach to business, but there is a question: why even under the global financial crisis it is much easier to invest and work in a good cause of the state than under bureaucratic arbitrariness? Perhaps these officials invented crisis themselves?… The question remains open for consideration and discussion. Now we return to the process of the construction of the terminal. If someone needs interesting facts and arguments, we provide them with pleasure. Do you think it’s easy to organize and coordinate the work of more than 1500 construction workers from 50 organizations on the site? No, it isn’t? It is extremely difficult but we coped with it. Can someone think that to drive 4000 piles into the ground to a depth of up to 28 meters in some places, when the area is saturated with equipment and people is an easy thing? The fact that you see only the surface of the earth, but not what is at a depth: the various layers of soil, stones! How would you lift the entire territory to a height of 3 m to avoid flooding or waterlogging? We could do that! Perhaps, looking at the successful result of the work, state authorities need to think and reward construction companies (at the state level) for showing professionalism and enthusiasm. Moreover, it is not the first and not the last labor achievement of our partners and employees of our company. That’s how people create the history of Ukraine today. Our company stays true to its principals and its social policy. We continue own development, placing stake on a young team and experienced high quality professionals, who have responsible approach to business, self-improvement and self-development. Involvement of professionals who have talent and motivation is an immutable principle of our personnel policy. Андрій Вадатурський став генеральним директором «НІБУЛОНу» після понад 15 років роботи в компанії — в липні 2022 року.

Він прийняв цю посаду після трагічної загибелі свого батька та засновника «НІБУЛОНу» Олексія Вадатурського разом із матір’ю Раїсою Вадатурською під час російського ракетного удару по їхньому дому в Миколаєві.

З 2014 до 2019 рік був народним депутатом України від одномандатного округу в Миколаївській області та членом Комітету з питань аграрної політики. У 2017 році створив і очолив велику міжпартійну групу, яка виступала за розвиток українських річок як транспортного засобу.  

Має ступінь магістра електротехніки Українського державного морського технічного університету та ступінь магістра економіки промисловості Лондонської школи економіки. У 2009 році за вагомий внесок у розвиток агропромислового комплексу України був нагороджений Президентом України, йому присвоєно звання «Заслужений працівник сільського господарства».

Одружений, має трьох дітей.
