Recently the main grain transshipment terminal of NIBULON has been visited by representatives of the Iowa Farm Bureau (the USA). The Iowa Farm Bureau lobbies for interests of local farmers at the international and state levels. David Miller, one of the bureau representatives, noted that the goal of their visit was NIBULON as a leader of Ukraine’s agrarian sector. “Consequently, the specialists of your company can provide with the most objective information about Ukrainian grain market, including logistics and peculiarities of export business. Your knowledge and skills are extremely important for us. The visit will contribute to establishment of strong relations between our countries and increase of cooperation”, he mentioned. During familiarization with the terminal the guests discussed a number of questions with Oleksandr Hohlov, NIBULON’s deputy general director of quality assurance. The discussion concerned general development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector and its comparison with the U.S. one; there were compared systems to control agrarian companies in Ukraine and in the USA. The guests saw improvement and modernization of Ukraine’s agrarian sector. According to them, such companies like NIBULON that open new opportunities for development of domestic agriculture are a big step ahead for Ukraine. The farmers were impressed by the level of compliance with the European and American quality standards, competitiveness of the company. They assured that due to such companies like NIBULON Ukraine took a deserved place in the world grain market. While visiting the new administrative and laboratory building the guests said they could not even imagine that Ukraine had such a modern and technologically perfect agrarian company. «I have never seen such an agricultural company. I did not expect to see it in your country, as we had already visited different companies in Ukraine. I was impressed by organization of grain production and storage, control system, and also the modern laboratory where we have seen the U.S. equipment. It is very important for us and we burst with pride at that moment”, told William Horan, a farmer. He summarized, “Environmental compatibility, innovation, perfection are the words characterizing your transshipment terminal which analogs are hard to find even in the USA. You are the leader in Ukraine deservedly, and the world players consider you to be one of the most powerful competitors”.
