Andrii Hordieiev: NIBULON is an Author of Great Changes

In addition, Hola Prystan mayor Oleksandr Babych, the company’s specialists, and heads of contracting organizations traditionally were at the meeting.
During the inspection of the construction site Oleksiy Vadaturskyy noted that the new transshipment terminal in Kherson region was being constructed also thanks to Head of Kherson Regional State Administration, who had suggested the idea and personally offered NIBULON’s manager to build a state-of-the-art facility in Hola Prystan.
“He came to our branch in Voznesensk with his team, saw how we were constructing the facility with Kherson construction organizations, and invited us to Kherson region.  During our visit to Kherson region we decided on the location of the future facility, and he, within his powers and Ukrainian laws, quickly solved all the issues. There was promotion of deputies of Hola Prystan City Council, who promptly adopted four decisions on allocation of four land plots for the construction that were in possession of different organizations. We are constructing the terminal at these plots”, explained Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
In turn, Hola Prystan mayor Oleksandr Babych added, “We allocated four land plots for NIBULON, and ensured compliance with all legislative proceedings. When the construction process was started, there appeared drive in the town. People see a lot of machinery, builders. We are looking forward to construction completion. This facility will create jobs in town and will replenish the budget of Hola Prystan with taxes”.
The company’s transshipment terminal is being constructed as part of cooperation with the European Investment Bank, which on December 19 allocated EUR 71 million to the leader of Ukrainian grain market for development and modernization of logistics infrastructure in Ukraine without state guarantees. This money is aimed at development of river infrastructure and reconstruction of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard.
The builders have finished constructing foundations of the laboratory and administrative building, control room, headhouse, grain storages, and other objects. The contractors have to construct foundations for the truck tipper by mid-April, and then the ironworkers will start their operations.
According to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, there will be laid about 15 thousand cubic meters of concrete, more than 5 thousand tons of metalware, 30 km of cable, etc. This will be a fully automated facility; it will have an observation deck, a watch tower. So, each time we construct better facilities”, stressed the company’s manager.
At present there are more than 350 builders from 24 organizations at the construction site; according to NIBULON’s General Director, by the end of May, more than 1.5 thousand specialists from 75 organizations will be working here round-the-clock.  As always, the company prefers local contractors. The rest of the works, Kherson contractors couldn’t perform, are being performed by old and reliable company’s partners from other regions. The builders from 12 regions of Ukraine will be constructing the terminal worth half a billion UAH in Hola Prystan.
There were also representatives from Khersongas PJSC and Khersonoblenerho Power Supply Company at the meeting. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy asked them to do their best to ensure gas and electricity supply at “Holoprystans’ka” branch by mid-May. On June 15 this terminal, the whole Europe knows about, will start receiving grain grown by Kherson agrarians. Andrii Hordieiev also said a good word for NIBULON and asked everyone to treat this facility as an event in our life, region, and state.
“If we take it so, there will be no problems: there will be people, resources, etc. We have a lot of conscious people and we want to do what we were invited for: new jobs, wages, transparent mechanisms of community social protection. These are not just phrases. After putting of the terminal into operation. we will remove 12.5 thousand trucks from the roads per year, and what we still need – to advance”, said Head of Kherson Regional State Administration.
Besides, he added that NIBULON was an author of great changes.  The impetus given by it is already considered in the Ministry of Infrastructure as the revival of waterway. It’s called in different ways – the Silk Road or “From the Varangians to the Greeks”. NIBULON’s idea is a huge international project for further cooperation with Belarus, Poland, Lithuania and so on.
The company plans to construct two more facilities along the Dnipro River this year and two facilities next year. In addition, in 2018, NIBULON plans to build its facility on the Sea of Azov, in Henichesk town to supply agricultural products to Iran.
Besides, in spring, the company plans to start passenger transportation by the route Kherson – Hola Prystan – Kovalivka – the Kinburn Spit.
“We also consider the possibility to support Skadovsk, to provide passenger transport from Mykoloaiv and Kherson to Skadovsk to rest. We already have three hydrofoils. We are reconstructing our own shipbuilding and repair yard to build hydrofoils of a new type that will operate by the route Mykolaiv – Istanbul – Varna and so on. Upon the reconstruction completion the shipyard will be able to build modern high-speed hydrofoils”, shared his plans NIBULON’s manager.
We would remind you that in parallel with the construction of the transshipment terminal in Hola Prystan, the company is constructing a similar facility in Bilenke village (Zaporizhzhia region) and new vessels at its shipbuilding and repair yard. Thus, NIBULON will have launched 3 tugs by June 1, 2017; one of them will be named after a famous Mykolaiv shipbuilder, a legendary person Yurii Makarov.
