The history of NIBULON in Cherkasy region has started since 2006 when the elevator complex of “Zolotonis’ka” branch was constructed. The following year there was established “Chygyryn” branch. “The villagers managed to feel advantages very quickly seeing NIBULON’s agrarian culture and social responsibility and receiving rental payment regularly. At that time the management of the neighbouring Kamyanka district offered us to lease the land in Lybentsi and Luzanivka villages”, recollects Vitaliy Shevtsov, “Kamaynka” branch director. Vitaliy, having graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, worked as an economist in Lugansk and Mykolayiv regions. He is a representative of one of NIBULON’s dynasties; his father worked as a driver of “Troyits’ka” branch in Lugansk region. “On signing land lease agreements beforehand we started to take machinery to the fields. It became clear that the branch land was a virgin soil. People and machinery had to sweat to till it. We directed our heavy tractors to the fields (Fendt, Case), but even several cultivations did not allow to level the land. Consequently, we decided to plant nothing in spring of 2008. In order not to make a noise (because of fallow land), we organized a meeting, invited agronomists, and due to such a professional approach people received evidence that sometimes it is better to wait than to sow into unprepared land. Thus, the community trusted NIBULON completely”, mentions Mykola Isakov, a 27-year-old chief agronomist, that has an agronomic education and operational experience in “Prybuzhanivs’ka” branch (Mykolayiv region). On construction of the branch the local community felt advantages of socially responsible business. Since the first months of the branch operation the villagers in Kamyanka region has believed that fame of the district ensured by former enterprises would be revived again due to NIBULON. The branch required additional well-paid personnel; thus, people started to come back to the village. Due to payment of taxes village budgets were increased considerably. Thanks to the company’s funds, there is performed repair of comprehensive secondary schools; there are allocated funds for organization of village holidays, sports competitions, clearance of roads during winter, repair of road surface, illumination installation in the villages. Thus, the young agrarian branch allowed the local communities to solve issues, including job placement. “As opposed to my colleagues I was born and live in Luzanivka village”, tells Tamila Borys, an economist, “Having entrusted our land shares to NIBULON in 2008 we were not mistaken, because every promises of NIBULON are confirmed by deeds. NIBULON’s branch is a decoration and pride of our district and is characterized by stability and reliability. We have a lot of picturesque places. In particular, in Luzanivka village there is an artificial Island of Love inherited from former enterprises. It is a younger brother of the Island of Love with Pink Pavilion in Sofievka Park (Uman city). Due to this a part of romance was transferred to our village”. And for some workers NIBULON and Cherkasy region became the beginning of a successful career. Tetyana Kotyk, acting chief accountant, tells, “While graduating from Kyiv National University in 2010 I had to choose my future workplace. A friend of mine who works in “Pivdennyy Bug” branch of NIBULON advised me this company. She explained that the company was not afraid of employing young people without operational experience which was required by many other employers. Thus, I moved to Cherkasy region despite I was born in Vinnytsya region. I am not sorry for my resettlement. It is not the region of habitation, but it is stability. Unfortunately, only about 10 percent of my former fellow students work within their specialty…” Andriy Nepyivoda, a chief engineer, says, “Majority of the branch employees are the inhabitants. And only our management is the youth trained by NIBULON. In my 30s I have undergone a serious NIBULON’s school. I worked in Mykolayiv region in RE “Lidiyivs’ke” branch. Our staff is a friendly team headed by experienced specialists. Each harvest, unit of machinery that operates without breakdowns is an indicator of our professional maturity”. The branch employees give thanks to their young director calling him not only director, but also a professional manager. Mykola Seletskyy who works as a driver since the first day of the branch foundation notes that Vitaliy Shevtsov is not an indifferent director. “He grieves both for the company and for each member of his team. He always advises and helps in case of any questions (either connected with work or private ones). He is a man of words and deeds.
