Cherkasy region is famous for its fertile land, agrarians and agricultural companies. In 2017, “Chygyryn” branch joined NIBULON’s production branches located in Cherkasy region.
When NIBULON constructed its branch, the land was covered with weeds (even higher than tractors). Consequently, NIBULON had a lot of work to do. The team was not afraid of difficulties, and managed to finish construction till the beginning of winter crops sowing. Since then, “Chygyryn” branch has been demonstrating one of the best results both in the region and among NIBULON’s branches.
NIBULON has recently summarized the results of the 2015 agrarian season. According to the results, the agrarians from “Chygyryn” branch achieved a number of personal records that are also NIBULON’s achievements.
First of all, the agrarians demonstrated maximum indices of corn yield last season. The yield and gross yield of corn accounted for 86.5 dt/ha and 28.6 thousand tons, respectively.
In the 2015 season, NIBULON cultivated 54 fields sown with this crop on the total area of 3.3 thousand ha which is equivalent to the area of 4,444 medium football fields.
As to other crops, the company harvested sunflower in 16 fields of 1.3 thousand ha and soybean – in 8 fields of 428 ha.
The gross yield of late grain crops harvested by “Chygyryn” branch is a record one and accounts for 35.5 thousand tons this season.
In order to achieve this success, “Chygyryn” branch involved 9 Case 2388 and John Deere S660 combine harvesters, 2  Case МХ-310 tractors, 11 sowing machines, 6 cultivators, 4 sprayers, and others.
During busy days, the branch involved up to 200 people in harvesting.
According to the results of 2015, Mykola Vasitskyy and Ivan Perepylytsya were the leading team. They threshed 4.2 thousand tons of corn on the area of 465 ha, 938 tons of sunflower on the area of 411 ha, and almost 1.2 thousand tons of winter wheat on the area of 294 ha.
All the works were performed according to the standard scheme of agrarian production followed by NIBULON: sowing – cultivation – mineral fertilizer application – spraying – intertillage – harvesting.
According to this year’s result, “Chygyryn” branch became an absolute leader of the 2015 agrarian season, having achieved a record gross yield of early and late grain crops of 47.9 thousand tons. The average output of agricultural products from one hectare was 48.1 dt/ha.
Having completed rush harvesting campaign, “Chygyryn” branch is preparing for the next season. The agrarians have already applied NPK fertilizers on the area of more than 2 thousand ha to sow sunflower and corn. They are ploughing land for late grain crops.
