Bad weather conditions have complicated the construction of the transshipment terminal. Within two months 370 mm of rain fell in Voznesensk district. For reference, annual precipitation is 300 mm. If it were a snowfall, snow cover depth would be 11 meters! Consequently, there was such a big amount of water at the construction site that it could become an obstacle to execute construction work in time.
In this regard, management of the company decided forthwith to recruit a rescue squad of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolayiv region. During two days rescuers managed to pump out 300 cubic meters of water from the construction site. Company’s management thanks rescuers for their work. Due to their help, contractors will be able to finish work at the scheduled time.
Moreover, to reduce water other melioration activities will be carried out at the construction site.
In spite of bad weather conditions, the construction work is coming to an end. Executives of some contractors reported that because of the weather they were slightly behind the schedule, but all work would be executed in time, and in June the transshipment terminal will be put into operation.
Several facilities, such as administrative and laboratory building, cafeteria, weighing station and workshops must have been built on a turnkey basis by the beginning of next week. The workers have started installing furniture and computers, equipping working places in the administrative and laboratory building and operational weighing station from Monday. In addition, next production meeting will take place in the equipped cafeteria.
Finishing work in the workshops and fire station is already coming to an end. Work at the energy centre of the transshipment terminal (transformer substation) is almost finished as well. 48 converters of the famous Japanese company Mitsubishi have been already installed here.
Oleksiy Vadaturskyy highlighted the work of JCS “Astarta Mlynelevatorbud” and LLC “Svitlolyuks-electromontazh” that performed their tasks without delays.
Installation of silos for wet grain storage, drying complexes, waste bins, transport equipment and upper loading galleries is at its final stage today. National and company’s flags are wavering already at the last ones.  
Commissioning works will take place in the nearest time. Control repainting of facilities will be started after site improvement and landscaping. 
Flameproofing at all transshipment terminal facilities as well as area fencing and its lighting around the perimeter will have been finished by June 15. A gas pipeline has been laid to the complex and waste treatment facilities have been installed. 
Trucks from Spain with silos metalware of SYMAGа company arrived at the start of the week to the “Voznesens’ka” branch.  Taking into account that in silos installation 400 specialists will be involved, the general quantity of workers at the construction site will reach 1,000 people. In general, it is necessary to assemble 3,2 million components with a total mass of about 2,000 tons within 10-12 days.   
The construction of internal concrete access roads is going on today. Reconstruction of the road from the transshipment terminal to the road P-55 Odesa-Novy Bug and road surface repair of Odeska Street in Voznesensk are being planned at these days. Construction of a bicycle road by which facility workers could get to work will be started this week. Lighting will be also installed.  
The cargo berth is being built with a slight delay. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy promised the executive of the contractor responsible for berth construction to provide with necessary assistance. The latter stated that workers would try their best and work in two shifts to put the facility in operation by the proper time.
Meanwhile, spawning period has already finished and dredging works at the Sothern Bug River that must have been finished by June 15 have intensified. The additional equipment was used to step up the activities.    
General Director of NIBULON is satisfied with the results and pace of the transshipment terminal’s construction in general. He thanked contractors for their hard work.
Oleksiy Vadaturskyy remarked that the company intends to invest heavily in the national economy in future. There is a prior arrangement with international financial institutions for the allocation of funds to the construction of several high tech facilities. In general, we cooperate with 15 foreign banks.
During his foreign business trip the General Director discussed the perspectives of the further cooperation with authorized financial institutions.

Oleksiy Vadaturskyy also pointed out that the company strengthens the image of Ukrainian national investor by its large-scale investment projects. NIBULON is a leader among investors in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. Its investments in the sea complex have already exceeded USD 1 billion. By the way, it is not that common in Western countries the agricultural company to invest in vessel construction and vice versa. It is also unusual for Western partners that NIBULON executes the work that must be performed by the government. In particular, it is referred to the dredging works. Today the company not only grows rapidly but also makes its contribution to the development of the national economy.
