It is rush season in NIBULON. Harvesting campaign is in process, and NIBULON’s office and elevators have a constant stream of people who want to work with the Ukrainian exporter. How can the specialists of NIBULON’s trading bloc hold leadership positions on the Ukrainian and international agricultural markets? “New marketing year has been started recently, and our company actively purchases agricultural products of a new yield”, informs Olga Tymoschenko, a head of NIBULON’s purchase department. Her specialists are working hard now: execution of contracts with agricultural producers, data gathering, processing of primary accounting documents. Majority of our employees is youth: former students who got their first workplace at NIBULON. “I wanted to work for NIBULON during my studies at the university”, recollects Natalya Lytvynova, “It is a large and powerful company. Working here means constant development and improvement”. Olga Tymoschenko stresses that when working with young people NIBULON has an opportunity to train real professionals who correspond to NIIBULON’s high requirements and tempo of work. The team is growing and changing. The specialists, trained under the direction of Olga Tymoschenko, are invited to head other departments of NIBULON. “Our work is connected with communication. Every day tens of agricultural producers and suppliers come to us. Ability to communicate, readiness to help and advice, respect are obligatory qualities for the employees of our department”, tells Olga Tymoschenko. Ukrainian agrarians are attracted not only by communication skills and professionalism of our personnel. NIBULON shows open and transparent policy. Those who want to familiarize themselves with the current prices for agricultural products by each elevator complex of the company can refer the company’s website or dial a number of answering machine round the clock. Analysis and monitoring of prices and propositions on the agricultural market are performed by NIBULON’s commercial department. Head of the department Yuliya Muracheva started her career in the purchase department. Today she is at the head of the subdivision of NIBULON’s trading block. Recently some specialists of the foreign economic relations and marketing department, quality control department were transferred to the commercial department. “Market analysis requires knowledge from different spheres. That is why at present NIBULON’s commercial department has specialists who know economy, accounting, foreign economic activity, storage and processing of agricultural products”, explains Yuliya Murachova. NIBULON provides many recent graduates with deserved workplace and opportunities for occupational improvement. Dmytro Furda, a philologist-interpreter and economist by specialty, has an opportunity to work for many companies connected with foreign economic activity in Ukraine and abroad. “But, at the same time, I cannot but mention problems as to employment of such specialists in our city”, mentions Dmytro. In NIBULON Dmytro got an opportunity to use his experience and education as intended. Today he works in the contract execution department, a subdivision that is responsible for execution of foreign economic contracts. Recently Dmytro has participated in the international forum “Private Sector for Food Security: Improving the Investment Climate in Egypt’s Agricultural Sector (Cairo, Egypt) organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). “Our management’s innovation vision of NIBULON’s ways of development, determination of accurate directions and goals of work by using efficient plans and mechanisms, a hundred percent devotion to work, transparency of doing business help NIBULON to get a positive image both on the domestic and international markets”, thinks Dmytro. According to Vira Shpyl, a head of the contract execution department, today NIBULON is strengthening its positions in the international arena: the company has renewed such strategic directions as Iran, Libya, Japan. Thus, in 2011/12 marketing year the company, for the first time, delivered corn to Japan in compliance with U.S. quality standards (earlier our company exported barley and wheat to this country). Products of Ukrainian agricultural producers are exported by NIBULON to more than 60 countries of the world. “We plan to develop new product markets and technologies to deliver agricultural commodities”, accentuates Vira Shpyl. Soon in order to load Panamax vessels in the roads, the company will use its own floating crane St.Mykolai constructed in Constanta, Romania. Daily capacity of such a crane comprises up to 20 thousand tons which is equal to capacity of NIBULON’s transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city. According to the specialists, the vessel is the largest productive transshipment floating crane in Ukraine and can replace up to 10 standard vessels operating on Ukraine’s market.
