On the 12th of March 2010, in Gradyz’k town of Globyns’kyy district Poltava region a solemn ceremony of the beginning of construction of new transshipment terminal for grains and oilseeds for river transport of “NIBULON” took place. Hope has emerged Elevator complex in Gradyz’k town will be the fourth facility of the company that was built within the frames of Investment project 2009-2010 and the first river terminal in Poltava region. Governor of Poltava region Valeriy Myhaylovych Asadchev complimented citizens of Gradyz’k on this outstanding event. V.M. Asadchev emphasized the historicity of the event, noting that construction of a new elevator “will revitalize Prydniprovs’kyy region”. “NIBULON” helped us to overcome crisis, when farmers of Poltava region felt necessity of agricultural products offtake. Due to the company whole grain storage infrastructure was reconstructed and diversified at the highest European level. So the huge problem of monopolizing the industry has been solved. This year “NIBULON” will build 4 elevators in Poltava region. Poltava grain will be securely stored for a long period thus giving farmers an opportunity to trade successfully on domestic and foreign markets”. The Governor noted that this facility will “significantly raise the incomes of local budgets and the budgets of citizens of Gradyz’k, who will get great work places”. The guests were applauding and Valeriy Myhaylovych passed permission for the construction of the future transshipment terminal of Gradyz’k branch to the general director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Opanasovych Vadaturskyy. Solemn ceremony of the beginning of construction of the new facility was also attended by Heads of Globyne town and Romodan village of Myrgorods’kyy district, Poltava region, where two powerful elevator complexes were built last year within the frames of investment project. According to the mayor of Globyne town Sergiy Olexandrovych Kovnir the fact that a modern terminal of “NIBULON” will be constructed on the territory of Globyne, is good news for the whole Poltava region: “After construction of the company’s elevator in Globyne, town life has completely changed. Citizens of Globyne saw, what does the quality, speed, conscientiousness of taxpayer, good working conditions mean”. The head of Gradyz’k town Vasyl Kompnaiyets joined in with optimism of Sergiy Kovnir: “Today we have an example of people who are used not just to talk but to do business despite the obstacles. Organizational work lasted for about a year, execution of consent documents, and finally now in the 1145th anniversary of the first historical mention of our town, the hope of port- town Gradyz’k revival has emerged. Homestretch According to the General Director of “NIBULON” O.O. Vadaturskyy, “Today, the company heads into the homestretch of completing the first stage of construction of elevator complexes in Poltava region. After putting into commission elevators in Gradyz’k, Artemivka, Maryanivka and Kremenchuk, Poltava region will receive additional 500 thousand tons of elevator capacities to store grain and oilseeds. Poltava farmers will be able to work directly with the company without intermediaries that should have exits to sales markets and final consumers of Ukrainian grain worldwide. This is an additional income to farmers, the cost of agricultural production will increase by 50-70 UAH per ton. According to Oleksiy Opanasovych those enterprises that were put into operation in Poltava region in October last year (“Globyns’ka” and “Romodan” branches), have already harvested about 100 thousand tons of grains, and including “Reshetylivs’kyy” elevators – more than 250 thousand tons of grain. And this is only the half of a marketing year! O. Vadaturskyy expects the river terminal in Gradyz’k to be put into operation on the 15th of June 2010. Harvesting will mark the revival of Dnipro River as the main water way. Investment in the agricultural sector of Ukraine will become more profitable. “Funds for the construction of elevators in Globyne town and Romodan were devoted by the government of Denmark through the Danish export credit fund. Today on the security of Danish government the fund devotes another 20 million euros to us for the elevator construction in Gradyz’k town. Having reliable reputation, our company cooperates with leading world financial institutions, investing in Ukraine. Firstly it is the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank and the French, Swiss, Dutch, American, Canadian banks. Funds for implementation of our investment project were entrusted to our company in difficult times of financial crisis. We do not have a financial crisis. We have only a crisis of time.
