In autumn 2014, the construction of the transshipment terminal was started in Bilenke village, Zaporizhzhya region. NIBULLON continues to implement its investment program to revive the river Dnipro and other Ukrainian rivers as transport waterways, to develop logistics, to increase cargo carriage by waterways. The company is experienced in constructing elevators on water, but the facility in Bilenke village is quite different being constructed on the site with hills and a high shore. Consequently, NIBULON had to start with a large amount of excavation work.
Besides, disassembling is being carried out within a month. It is necessary to remove old grain storage, to prepare the site for the construction of the modern complex to receive, store and ship grain meant for storing 55 thousand tons with an annual capacity of 450 thousand tons. The old facility was quite big; the scope of works is large (the company works itself without involving third-party organizations). The builders must prepare the site before the New Year. The company has to solve traffic problems, as the road is practically destroyed. Besides, weather conditions have worsened recently.
An experience obtained during the construction of the river terminal in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy town helps the builders to solve issues. Construction in Bilenke village continues according to schedule.
Disassembling will be finished soon, informed Oleksandr Litvinow, a construction control engineer from NIBULON capital construction department. The walls have been disassembled elementwise; and now it is necessary to remove old construction materials in order to follow technological cycle. We use additional equipment, a crane, as it is impossible to dismantle everything by hands. Some employees from “Snigurivs’ka” branch are involved in disassembling. Some construction materials will be taken to NIBULON branches for further use.
As to the vertical planning, Ekskavatsiya construction organization from Zaporizhzhya city is working here, according to the agreement. As to the moorage wall, two weeks ago a metal groove to fix the frame for cementing was rammed in, and now the frame itself is being formed.  Gidrotechnologia Ltd (Mykolayiv city) will have assembled piles to strengthen the metal groove this week and will have performed 50 % of concrete works and sand backfill to construct a track for a ship loading machine by the end of the week.
Day by day, the building site is changing; soon main works to construct the transshipment terminal in Bilenke village will be started. It is a significant stage in the implementation of NIBULON investment program.
