Fire brigades of NIBULON’s branches participated in the review-contests of non-military fire units of Kyiv region.
These events are held every year according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 47 dated 27.01.2003 “On Actions as to Improvement of State Control in the Field of Fire Safety, Protection of People and Territories from Emergency Situation Consequences” and according to the Decrees of the Regional and District State Administrations.
The goal of the events is to ensure anthropogenic and fire safety at companies; to improve and increase work efficiency connected with fire safety; to solve tasks connected with ensuring of fire protection and quick response to a situation; to increase state control over anthropogenic and fire safety condition; to increase personnel potential.
This year the fire brigade of “Denyhivs’ka” branch has taken part in the district review-contest of companies of Tetiyiv region that was held on May 31 in Tetiyiv town. It included Oleksandr Korniychuk, Mykola Myagchenko, Oleksandr Troyanskyy, Ivan Shutyak, Ruslan Zhovtovskyy, Myhaylo Rudenko.
Totally, there participated 18 teams out of 28 invited.
The contests had the following directions: 4×100-meter relay race (obstacle course overcoming) and deployment of firefighting equipment.
Deployment of firefighting equipment is to bring forces and equipment into a state of readiness to perform tasks as to firefighting and rescue of people.
The brigade of NIBULON’s branch took the prize-winning places in the following contests:
— first place for overcoming of an obstacle course;
— second place for deployment of firefighting equipment;
— second place for machinery maintenance.
According to the contest results, the team took second team place having proved high level of staff training and received Honorary Diploma of the District State Administration.
The fire brigade of “Pereyaslavs’ka” branch participated in the similar contests held that day in Pereyaslav-Khmelnyts’kyy town (Pereyaslav-Khemelnyts’kyy district). Readiness of non-military units was evaluated according to the main direction, i.e. deployment of firefighting equipment. The branch fire brigade took second place (and second team place) in the fire brigade games and was awarded with a Diploma of the District State Administration. The names of the winners are Oleksandr Abakumov, Anatoliy Utka, Valentyn Degtyar, Andriy Ivanchuk, and Vitaliy Slavyanskyy.
An appropriate level of technical support of NIBULON’s branches is a guarantee of high results, demonstrated by the fire brigades, and high level of training, their readiness to react and to remove emergency situations efficiently. The fire brigades, operating at NIBULON’s branches, use 26 units of firefighting machinery: 18 fire-fighting vehicles (including 13 ATS-40 purchased for the newly-built branches), 6 monoblock pumps, 1 fire-fighting hydraulic crank car lifts, and 1 water carrier.
Regular obligatory special training of NIBULON’s brigades and providing with all necessary equipment contribute to the above mentioned. It should be noted that NIBULON’s fire brigades are always ready to help people extinguishing fire in settlements, forests, etc.
