The company’s shipbuilders continue preparatory works to form the hull, assembling subsections of the units No.1, 2, 3 (stern) and producing sections of the units No. 4, 5, 6 (parallel middle body), No.12 (forebody).
At the same time the specialists are producing flat plates of outer plating, inner side, inner bottom and also plates of upper deck for three non-self-propelled vessels (10007-10009 hull numbers).
The specialists of Pallada state plant (Kherson) are cutting plates of metal-roll to be used for producing parts.
As of April 01, the plant has cut 60% plates out of 1,176 units of the total amount and delivered 450 tons of parts produced (out of 1,100 tons of the required ones) to NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard.
In addition, NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard is finishing purchase of necessary equipment to construct three non-self-propelled vessels, namely anchor and mooring windlasses, mooring capstans, winches and reels, anchors and anchor chains, ropes, a set of electric equipment, and others.
According to NIBULON’s shipbuilding plans, the non-self-propelled vessels of a new project will join NIBULON’s shipping company in July. They were designed for operation in shallow rivers (in particular, along the Southern Bug River); these “elevators on water” have a light hatch cover and a smaller draught.
