The specialists of the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON” completed formation of NIBULON-5 strength hull. The last hull unit No.50 (forebody edge) was jointed.
After the towknees had been mounted, the vessel was placed on the next berth position having cleared a space to form hull of NIBULON-6.
As to the final hull works carried out on the first tug, at present there is being finished formation of the unit No.70 (the vessel’s bow superstructure), sections No.71 (entrance to forward house) and No.81 and No.83.
Besides, the spaces are being equipped: galvanized pipes, foundations and welding equipment are being mounted.
On the electrical-fitter area there has been started cutting of electric cable; electric panels are being prepared for installation on the vessel.
The shipbuilders have started to test tanks; they are being prepared for painting.
NIBULON-5 total readiness comprises 31.5 %
According to the deputy director of preproduction Yuriy Karmalov, at present NIBULON-6 hull formation is being started: the hull unit No.20 is being prepared for installation on the berth position.     
At the same time the formation of the units No.10 and 50 (forebody and afterbody edges) is being continued.
At the assembly-welding and piping areas of the machine-assembly department there is being continued manufacture of pipes, items to equip sections and units, and also fresh water stainless tanks.
Construction of vessels is performed according to the following stages: metal cutting -subassembly and fabrication – hull formation (NIBULON-6) – manufacture of hull systems (NIBULON-5) – test of spaces – assembly of deck equipment – assembly of electrical and radionavigation equipment – mounting of insulation and metal plating – plating of spaces – equipping of superstructure and living spaces – deck painting – mooring trials – sea trials.
