Talking to colleagues, we understand how interesting, versatile people are around us. NIBULON employees not only strive for professional realization, but also find time for personal development and their own passion.
Among them is Veronika Bazyniak. Veronika has a higher education in «Account and audit» and has been working as an accountant on operational account at the Denykhivska branch for almost 10 years, she is responsible for the registration of contractors’ vehicles, holds the records of grain, work with documentation. And in free time, she makes original handmade caskets for valuable things.
«My journey into handcraft began with beadwork. For a while I embroidered pictures, even clothes – blouses and dresses.
When I was on maternity leave, I accidently came across a photo on the internet of a casket in which parents keep memorable things about the first years of their child’s life. I got excited about the idea of creating such caskets for our family. I watched the video lessons, bought the materials and just started to make it. When I showed the result to my friends, they asked me to make the same one for them – that is how they liked it. Piece by piece, I started to receive new orders. That is how the «Mother’s Treasures» idea was born and my own personal small handmade business began.
Usually, in such caskets, parents keep various little things important for them: an extract from the maternity hospital, the first curl, a tooth, a pacifier, photos, etc – everything depends on the wishes of the client. I make each casket from a standard set of materials. This is cardboard of different densities, fabric, paper for painting. But the decoration materials are always different. All orders are individual, I have not had any repeats yet. That is why I look for different decorations for each craft.
I really like to create something new, work with miniature details, to see how the finished result emerges step by step. Making one casket – is a painstaking work. From the stage of the birth of an idea, design to the actual crafting. Therefore, observing the reaction and emotions of my clients when they receive an order is incredibly valuable!
Someone takes lots of pictures of their child. Someone is filming everything. And my way of imprinting important moments in memory – this is «Mother’s Treasures». My son is already 9. From time to time we open his casket, he is interested in listening to stories about himself when he was a little boy, and I love to remember those moments.
Now I don’t take orders as often as I used to. Unfortunately, there is not enough time for everything. However, I am so delighted that once a hobby appeared in my life, which brings comfort not only for me. I wish everyone to find a hobby for their soul!»
