This time not only eighth form pupils and their teachers, but also parents wanted to visit the transshipment terminal and shipbuilding and repair yard. They said, “NIBULON is one of the best enterprises in Mykolaiv and Ukraine, and we could not miss such an opportunity”.
The excursion started with the shipbuilding and repair yard. Together with the company’s specialists, the guests saw the territory of the shipbuilding yard and stopped at the newly built workshops. The specialists showed metal processing, process of manufacturing of parts, etc. to the pupils and their parents. The children were impressed by the size of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard and giant sections of future vessels that could be touched,
“I have a lot of impressions. I have never been to such a plant. And this is the first time I see such large equipment. And there are a lot of workshops. Frankly, everything is gigantic, and it’s interesting. It is interesting to watch how the cranes work. They easily move these heavy sections”, said eighth form pupil Ivan.
The excursion at the transshipment terminal was also very exciting to the visitors. The acquaintance with the modern laboratory, automated weighing station, huge domes and the terminal’s berth was interesting. However, exemplary cleanliness, numerous green areas with various plants and especially fountains at the transshipment terminal attracted considerable attention of the schoolchildren.  It was a real discovery for children, because nobody imagined that a fountain could be at the production plant.
“What large areas you have, and, more importantly, they are well-kept. It is so nice to see how employees water the trees, flowers, take care of nature. It’s very cool that you have fountains. It’s nice to sit near them in such hot weather. Your laboratory impressed me, it’s really super. It is so nice, everyone wears white coats and there are many rooms with modern equipment; everything is sterile, as in a hospital. And the employees talk about various analyses with grain in an interesting way. Just like in the movies”, shared her impressions Natalia.
At the end of the visit, the guests thanked NIBULON’s management for such an interesting excursion. All the participants were very impressed and hope for the next meetings.
