The main field of the cooperation is implementation of an investment project. The essence of the project is construction of the site of transport infrastructure “Transshipment terminal for shipment of grain and oil crops on board river and sea transport” in Hola Prystan town, Kherson region. The procedure of signing took place as part of the press-conference “100 days of the work of Kherson Regional State Administration”.
The Memorandum defines aspects of long-term cooperation within prolongation of NIBULON’s investment project in Kherson region, that is, in Hola Prystan. This year NIBULON will build its state-of-the-art and automated transshipment terminal there.
Announcing positive changes for the better the region will get from cooperation with NIBULON, Head of Kherson Regional State Administration Andrii Hordieiev noted that the commissioning of the transshipment terminal would provide 120 new permanent workplaces. Besides that, 1,500 specialists from Kherson enterprises will be involved in the construction process in record time of only three months.
Andrii Hordieiev added that they reached agreement on transportation of agricultural producers’ commodities by NIBULON’s fleet to Kyiv and Belarus.
In his turn, NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy noted that modern European facility in Hola Prystan would allow us to decrease traffic loading on highways of the region (up to million tons of cargoes per year), save Kherson region as ecologically clean one. Moreover, local agrarians can get more attractive price reducing their expenses for grain transportation. “I understand that we will have a lot of things to do, but our team is ready to work for development of Kherson region and its prosperity”, concluded Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
Oleksiy Vadaturskyy added that the patriotic team of Kherson region clearly demonstrated its own direction on creation of attractive investment climate. It actively presents Kherson region for bona fide and transparent Ukrainian business.
Oleksiy Vadaturskyy called the visit of Kherson Regional State Administration to the last production meeting at “Voznesens’ka” branch in July 2016 an example of strong desire to invite investors. According to results of the production meeting the local authority and the company decided for good: NIBULON and Kherson region are interested in further cooperation.
The new terminal in Hola Prystan town will become the company’s second terminal in the region, along with the transshipment terminal in Kozatske village of Beryslav district. Since its commissioning in 2012, NIBULON has managed to close a chain of its own transshipment terminals, having made a route along the Dnipro River from Kyiv to the main transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv.
