NIBULON is an example of successful cooperation between Canada and Ukraine started in 2003. At that time, financed by Export Development Canada and the State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine, NIBULON received USD 1.1 million to purchase casing of domes-grain storages from Domexpert Canada. These domes are still the world’s largest facilities to store grain.
“I was glad to know that one of the largest grain domes constructed with the assistance of Canada is located at NIBULON’s transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv. NIBULON’s facilities are great”, said Roman Vaschchuk. On the other hand, NIBULON’s fleet demonstrates a creative energy of the company’s management. NIBULON is an outstanding company and not only across Ukraine; it is a serious world player. I am sure that you will succeed in shipbuilding as in grain exports”.
The Ambassador observed the company’s modern cargo fleet, went on board Pereiaslavskyi tug and newly built non-self-propelled floating crane Nibulonivets. He watched the crane’s ramp operate. It will be used for a grab mobile crane. The guest saw living conditions of the crew.
“Captains of these vessels are very lucky. It is a rare case today, when a Ukrainian captain operates a Ukrainian vessel”, stressed the Ambassador.
