On April 30, 2012 French agrarians and representatives of Agritel company visited NIBULON’s transshipment terminal. Every year representatives of French agrarian sector visit NIBULON within their traditional business-tour. France is one of the largest producers of agricultural commodities in Europe. About 4 % of gross domestic product falls to the share of agriculture. French agricultural products comprise a quarter of the EU products. The annual grain harvest reaches 60 mln tons and the half is directed to export (the second place in the world after the USA). Highly-developed and efficient agriculture of France holds NIBULON’s activities as an example: “NIBULON’s transshipment terminal is equipped with the best European standards. We are impressed by the possibilities of your terminal: shipment capacity on water transport, storage capacities, control system”, note representatives of Agritel company. NIBULON’s own fleet aroused peculiar interest. It was found out that French agrarians are interested in the company’s activities in the marine economic sector, including status of St.Nicholas floating crane construction in Romania. “Ukrainian agricultural commodities are imported by the EU countries, mainly by Spain and Italy. France is also an importer of Ukrainian agricultural products”, mentions Sebastian Teche, a French agrarian. In particular NIBULON has been exporting agricultural products to France since 2009. It is mainly rape and sunflower. “It is interesting for French agrarians to know the direction and principles of Ukraine’s agriculture movement”, says Olivier Bouillet, “We are glad that at present the situation on Ukraine’s grain market has improved in comparison with 2010/11 MY. Today we have watched grain shipment on board a foreign vessel for export.”
