The next day NIBULON hosted Korean delegation. The delegation consisted of the Consul of the Republic of Korea, researchers from the Korea Rural Economic Institute, professor of Kangwon National University and representative of the Korea Maritime Institute.
The guests visited the only shipbuilding and repair yard in Ukraine that builds complete vessels and transshipment terminal. During the excursion there were demonstrated the following things: the process of the B2000 project vessels construction designed for operation on the Southern Bug River, cargo fleet of the company and agricultural commodity receipt, processing and shipment for export at the terminal.
In addition, during the excursion Andriy Volik demonstrated the high-tech lab equipment to his Korean colleagues and showed the procedure of grain and oilseeds analysis conducted with this equipment.
The guests from the Republic of Korea were impressed by the size of facilities for grain storage. It was also interesting for them to know about highly productive stream and transportation system of the terminal where the conveyer and noria equipment is used. It can provide high productivity up to 700 tons per hour.  
 “I know that approximately 12 % of grain crops are imported from Ukraine to Korea. NIBULON is one of the Ukrainian suppliers of grain, in particular corn, to our market. I hope that the percentage of Korean import of NIBULON’s agricultural products will rise in the near future”, admitted the superior researcher of the Korea Rural Economic Institute Choi Ji-Hyeon.
In his turn, Shin Kyu Ho, the Consul of the Republic of Korea, pointed out that he visited NIBULON for the first time. “We are impressed by the company’s architecture, high-tech equipment and development of river logistics. I am grateful to the key personnel for the possibility to visitthe shipbuilding and repair yard and transshipment terminal. We had plans to visit similar facilities in Odesa but any of them haven’t permitted us to do this so far. NIBULON reacted to our request immediately.”
Korean delegation thanked for such a warm reception, excursion and hopes to visit the successful company once more.
It is worth reminding that it is not the first visit of Korean delegation to NIBULON. Thus, there were specialists of ministries and corporations of the Republic of Korea at the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv, in particular, the Ministry of Food, Forestry and Fisheries, the Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation, company “Daewoo International”, and others.
