“Kozats’ka” Branch: Healthy Ambitions Do Good

The branch created in January 2012 celebrates the anniversary of its establishment. On this occasion the branch employees are familiarizing you with their achievements, telling about their impressions, sharing their plans for the future.
Bogdan Muzyka, the branch director, “As for me, our history has started since the branch was established. But there is a professional countdown starting on the first ton of grain taken in July 2012. I constantly remind my colleagues that the main task of the branch is to take, store and transship products, and the main task of the staff is to ensure these processes. Thus, my employees must perform their duties quickly and qualitatively. My task consists not only in hiring people, but also training them, directing their energy into the right pass, keeping my finger on the pulse of all production processes. I must be an example of work arrangement, devotion and self-improvement. Thus, I try to correspond to such requirements, but I am not ashamed to learn something new from my colleagues”.
Maksym Kabanyuk, a head of the production and technological laboratory,“Kozats’ka” branch is my first workplace. I like the company, as young and talented specialists are appreciated here; NIBULON gives an opportunity for career advancement. Stable work at NIBULON gives me confidence in future. The most memorable day is the beginning of our work, July 10, 2012, when the first two trucks with barley were taken. It was a difficult but at the same time pleasant day of our professional formation. In September we loaded the first non-self-propelled vessel. Both the laboratory and other elements of the branch worked like a clock. We keep to such working style. The current anniversary is celebrated with a symbolic present. We have procured more than 205 thousand tons of agricultural products in the first half of 2013/14 marketing year. This is a record figure”.
Andriy Melihov, acting chief powerman, “My role is quite important and responsible. The transshipment terminal is a modern high-tech facility that is fully automated. Electric energy is a source and a guarantee of its constant operation. Our ‘power economy’ is quite branched (from drying units and gas equipment to illuminating supports) and requires constant round-the-clock support. Besides, following energy saving technologies, together with NIBULON’s chief powerman department we are planning to implement LED lighting”.
After graduation from Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies in July 2011 Oleg Burlachenko, a chief engineer, got a job at “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch as a mechanical engineer, and in March next year he was transferred to “Kozats’ka” branch.
He tells, “It is a pleasure to work for NIBULON, as here I have an opportunity to work by specialty and develop myself professionally. My duties are to accompany the state supervisory bodies during inspections at the branch (fire and technogenic safety, labour protection, environmental protection and others). Working as a chief engineer, all inspections were carried out without essential remarks! As a result, the terminal operates uninterruptedly. I set myself an aim to implement new ideas for more effective arrangement of the terminal’s operation, minimizing expenses and preventing machine downtime”.
Mykola Stoykov, a mechanical engineer, “Having graduated from the university I got a job at “Kozats’ka” branch when precommissioning was in process. Thus, as the saying goes “off the boat and into the party”, I started to work consolidating my theoretical knowledge in practice. With the lapse of time the operating efficiency has increased considerably; I have learnt not just to react quickly in case of malfunction, but to prevent it. Oleg Burlachenko, a chief engineer, has set a task that consists in preventing malfunction maximally and repairing minimum. In addition to regular equipment inspections, its maintenance, we do not forget about technical progress, we also study technological innovations, consult colleagues from other branches”.
Viktoriya Chorna, acting chief accountant, “My personal professional achievement, besides knowledge obtained, is the ability to keep different sections of accounting. The most pleasant moment is correct reports without any remarks. Despite being young and starting my career recently, I have acquired a lot of things to teach my subordinates. I thank NIBULON for creating conditions to improve professionally. Here I was provided with an opportunity to show my managerial abilities. And one more thing, my colleagues can inspire and support. Despite we have different characters and different views, we are a single team”.
Anastasiya Poznahireva, a personnel inspector, “Kozatske town is my small homeland; my parents’ house is located near the branch. Consequently, I am glad to observe the current scenery in Nabarezhna Street. Today, instead of a wasteland and bushes there is NIBULON’s terminal; instead of lack of roads there is an asphalt road. Earlier, we could not even dream of it. NIBULON’s assistance to the town cannot but gladden, including capital repair and new furniture for the kindergarten “Kazka”; repair of the local house of culture and gym; repair, new furniture, computers and multimedia board for the secondary comprehensive school; street illumination. What distinguishes NIBULON from other companies? The company works not only for its own benefit, but also takes care of others”.
Roman Chumachenko, deputy director of the branch, “Great responsibility is laid on the branch director. His duties are to plan and arrange operation of the whole branch, to supervise keeping technological processes, etc. For someone, probably, a director is associated with an armchair manager who can only sign papers. NIBULON’s directors are different. At first some colleagues, being not well-informed about NIBULON’s style of work yet, were impressed by seeing their director in a working wear and assisting his employees during loading of non-self-propelled vessel, cleaning out storages, shoveling. They were surprised by his awareness of the accounting department activities and laboratory operation let alone technological equipment. This is the way to keep a finger on the pulse of the whole branch”.
***
The young terminal in Kherson region continues its development and improvement. Today the employees set themselves a high level for the future. And awareness that the whole company is waiting for fruitful activities inspires and increases the sense of responsibility. On the occasion of the anniversary, NIBULON’s team headed by Oleksiy Vadaturskyy congratulates their colleagues! We thank you for your work!
