The 121 project tugs being built at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard will join the company’s cargo fleet soon. The specialists continue to carry out testing on boards Kozatskyi and Pereiaslavskyi tugs that were launched recently. They are preparing Kremenchutskyi tug for launching.
The shipbuilders continue to carry out mooring trials of Kozatskyi tug (manufacturing order 10003). At present the specialists have tested the diesel-engines and main engines.
They also set up the propulsion unit and test hull systems. The specialists are installing and connect cables in the pilot house; the pilot control console will be installed soon.
Meanwhile, the shipbuilders have finished the plating of spaces, and they are installing furniture at present.
After completion of mooring trials, Kozatskyi tug will have sea trial.
The shipbuilders turned on electric power supply to the main switchboardof Pereiaslavskyi tug (manufacturing order 10004); testing of gears has been started. The specialists are washing fuel pipelines. They are plating spaces in the tug’s living accommodation; furniture will be installed soon.
Kremenchutskyi tug (manufacturing order 10005) is being outfitted. The specialists are installing insulation in the vessel’s spaces and ceiling in the engine room. They are preparing to install plating in the living accommodation.
NIBULON will transport cargo along the Southern Bug and other shallow rivers, putting into operation three shallow-draught tugs (121 project). It is an important stage in the implementation of NIBULON’s program to revive water transport arteries in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the company is constructing three non-self-propelled vessels (NBL-91 series) at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. The specialists are forming a half-hull on one of the vessels.
