The teachers from Mogyliv-Podilsk Technological and Economic College of Vinnytsya National Agrarian University (N.O. Sitnikova, a head of cyclic commission of commodity research of grain and food products and a head of grain laboratory at college, and L.V. Serzhenik, a head of cyclic commission of special discipline) attended NIBULON’s transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city in order to share experience with NIBULON’s leading specialists.
NIBULON organized a practical training seminar to familiarize the guests with production processes, NIBULON’s activities and laboratories, peculiarities of technological process to handle and store grain as well as technological control organization.
The practical training seminar lasted from 30.11 till 04.12.15. The following issues were discussed at the seminar:
1. Familiarization with NIBULON’s laboratories:
– production and technological laboratory (speaker: A.V. Bila, a head of NIBULON’s production and technological laboratory; O.Z. Leshko, a quality engineer from organization and product quality control department),  
– laboratory to measure GMO, radionuclides, mycotixins (speaker: A.G. Kara, deputy head of NIBULON’s production and technological laboratory),
– laboratory to measure grain baking properties (speaker: G.S. Nazarova, a chemical research engineer of NIBULON’s chemical and technological laboratory),
– laboratory to perform baking quality test (speaker: N.A. Mykhailova, a processing engineer ),
– chemical and technological laboratory (speaker: L.V. Postoronko, a head of NIBULON’s laboratory).
2. Procedure to place and store grain depending on its quality.
3. Control over grain and oilseeds storage.
4. Equipment and devices used to measure grain quality; instructions to use and maintain devices.
5. Proper sampling of grain and oilseeds; requirements for sampling; effective normative base and international standards working in the territory of Ukraine (speaker: O.Z. Leshko, a quality engineer).
6. Familiarization with grain storage equipment, the procedure to receive, place and store grain (speakers: S.O. Kalkutin, deputy director at the transshipment terminal, A.O. Arkhipov, a senior foreman at the transshipment terminal).
7. Observation and explanations for the use of European and American directives, comparison with Ukrainian standards (speaker: O.Z. Leshko, a quality engineer).
8. Practical training to measure grain quality, to compare it with international standards (speaker: O.Z. Leshko, a quality engineer).
